Lovely Beach Cottage close to everything.Light, and airy. Great outdoor entertainment area.Perfect for a beach get away.Great communication with owner and history of the cottage throughout the walls.Would definitely recommend!

Relaxing sunny Winter retreat

This Shellharbour cottage was a quaint original set back from the beach. It was well presented and well equipped. For Winter, the lounge area was the perfect suntrap.Always important, the shower was hot and the bed firm.Check in was great and ongoing information from the owner was really helpful.Our pooches had a lovely time sunning themselves on the deck.

Close to beach

We were a family of 6 celebrating a birthday. The house was as described and worked well for our group. The closeness of the beach and walking distance to Shellharbour were big pluses.

Beautiful Getaway in Great Location

Our stay at the Shellharbour Cottage was fantastic, it’s right next to the beach and perfect for the family. Property was clean and tidy with all the amenities needed. Rae (owner) was easy to deal with and checking in/out was a breeze. Would love to stay here again with my family!

Lovely beach shack

Shell Cove is a lovely spot to spend time with family, the new Waterfront Tavern has great food and the beach is directly across the carpark from the property. A true beach shack with all of the basics. Communication with the owner was easy and friendly.

Interesting location despite a very developed area

in between old town and new town…might be a good spot for parents with self sufficient children given beach access and patrolled beach…I recommend old town…stayed with 2 pets so couldn’t do take up what looked like interesting restaurants…suggest andaman thai …take away sitting in one of the covered booths on the water front … need to improvise with glasses if you’d like a wine but Andaman were able to help out …. One of the best things about this house is while it has great beach access it is very private…something that all the massive new ‘fence to fence’ houses have sacrificed The house is a little old but maybe that’s a good thing…

great location

Great location so nice to walk to everywhere. We loved the walking tracks and not having to take the car out once. The house was as per the images and a very casual setting. It wasn't as clean as we are used to and felt it was a little overpriced for the furnishings. A new bed in the main bedroom (front room) is needed as you hear the springs popping as you move. Overall very relaxing place.

Lovely Beach Cottage !

Lovely beach cottage in a great location. All you need for a comfortable, quiet and cosy stay. 1 minute walk to the beach and a few minutes to shops and restaurants. A short drive to the new Marina complex.

Perfect beach holiday cottage!

We have had the loveliest time at this cottage. Very comfortable inside and out on the deck (looks new!). The kitchen is well equipped with lots of extras provided. The beach is just outside the back gate and we could walk to everything in the local village (supermarkets, fish and chip shops, pubs). We recommend this highly to any family and friend groups for a beach getaway.

We had a ball!

The property was beautifully clean and welcoming. Some of the decor and kitchen supplies were a little tired but it kind of added to the experience. Lots of board games for the kids, a true holiday destination. Thanks Rae, for sharing your family home. Loved seeing the photos and history of the house too.

Great location

Just across from beach (car park between) so easy to just grab beach stuff and walk across the road. Walking distance to shops/cafes/parks. We enjoyed walking to restaurants for dinner ect. House comfortable and clean. Just a tip- having a vacuum on the property would have been more convenient for tidying up after kids than sweeping with a broom
