    The property is just a 6-minute walk from Kiama Train Station, offering guests easy, convenient travel to and from the area by train.

    If the property is booked last minute and the beds have already been made up after the previous stay, we regret we are unable to unmake and remake to different configurations and beds will be presented as per the website description text.

    Please note that this property is a self-contained short-term rental in a hotel complex, it is not part of the hotel group or run as one. As such, we are unable to provide extra towels or linen during your stay. If your unit does not have a washer/dryer or if you do not wish to use the local laundromat, you may prefer to bring your own additional linen or towel supplies.

    Pets are NOT welcome at this property.

    WiFi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge issues will be dealt with asap but cannot be guaranteed.

    To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.

    Terms and Conditions: Detailed terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you. Please share the terms and conditions with your other guests.

    Check-in and -out Times: During the busy months of December and January, the check-in time is 4 pm to facilitate peak back-to-back changeovers. Our standard check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am. We offer a complimentary early check-in or late check-out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us for a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly.

    Guest Registration: Guest registration is mandatory for all bookings and replaces the need for a cash bond for short term bookings (up to 20 nights). It is essential for fraud prevention, damage claims, safety, and emergency purposes. The process varies depending on the online travel agent used. Direct bookings require the booker to upload a copy of their driver’s licence and credit card through our encrypted online process.

    Additional Guests: The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.

    No Extras: This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

    EV Charging: For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.

    Long Stay Discounts: Some of our properties are well suited to longer stays. For bookings of 30 nights or more, we may be able to offer a reduced rate compared to what’s advertised. Please feel free to get in touch with our team with your preferred dates, and we’ll be happy to look at the best available rate for you.

    For medium-term bookings (21-40 nights) and long-term bookings (41-90 nights), a non-negotiable cash security deposit is required. This deposit is refunded after the departure inspection, with any damage or loss deducted. The minimum cash deposit is $2000, with higher amounts for larger or more expensive properties, or at the owner’s/manager’s discretion.

    Peace of Mind: For your added security we will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held by us and not disbursed until after your departure.

Great Birthday weekend

Spent 3 nights there. Great location. Nice big apartment for the family. Short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Nice big park across the road. The ocean pool looked amazing but a bit cold for a swim. Will be back in summer.

Disappointed

After 4 months of lockdown my husband and I were excited to finally have a break away in Kiama. The holiday apartment was advertised as ‘Platinum Penthouse’ with great photos showing luxurious interiors… far from it. The whole apartment needed a complete overhaul with repairs and paint work. The bathroom shower was covered in mould. The leather lounge was old and mouldy, disgusting to even consider sitting on. The balcony was dirty and glass windows with the magnificent views needed a good clean. So disappointing and ruined our holiday, we’ll never believe your advertising again.

It's all about the view!

The view from this property is AMAZING! That's what you're paying for!. Floor to ceiling windows in the main bedroom, you can watch the sunrise from bed. Overall the property was clean and functional but it could do with a little maintenance. The lounge and dining room chairs could do with a thorough clean or replacing as they are covered with stains, the walls need a freshen up with some paint and the bathroom needs updating! The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet properly and the shower recess had a decent amount of mould throughout the grout. The shower screen door didn't sit flush with the other screen panels either side which meant that every time you showered, the water went onto the bathroom floor and drenched the bath mat. Can't fault the kitchen, it was clean, functional and had everything you needed to cook and entertain. Mattresses were ok, a little soft and lumpy, a few more spare blankets wouldn't hurt!. Check in and out was seamless, detailed instructions on how to check in were received several days prior to my check in date. Would recommend to other travellers, but a few changes need to be made to the property.

Great - once we finally got in.

It took 3 hours, 9 phone calls and a range of misinformation and instructions for us finally to get into the property. No apology either for the run around we experienced. It was a disappointing start to a milestone birthday weekend.

Excellent location and accommodation

Easy to find and access. Beautiful view. Very elegantly presented. Very clean, with everything needed for cooking and a short stay. Would definitely recommend - it was a shame we couldn’t stay longer.

Good location and clean first impression not good the lift to second floor not working

Having travelled extensively I would have expected shampoo, soap etc in the shower even a dispenser would be appreciated. Providing rubbish baskets in the bedrooms along with paper towel in the kitchen instead of an empty holder for the paper which add touches to make this more like 5 star accommodation. Comparing this with the 5 star accommodation we had in CBD Sydney this unit was overpriced. As mentioned previously the lift we were told to catch was not working even after getting the office to recode. We left the car in the street for the entire visit. Forgot to mention there was not even a small container of milk in refrigerator.

the penthouse is in a great location opposite the harbour, walking distance to main street of Kiama,

the penthouse is in a great location opposite the harbour, walking distance to main street of Kiama, the blowhole and surrounds. all the facilities in the penthouse are great. The only issue we had was there was no hot water for two days we were there but was rectified quickly each time we discovered a problem, the property manager was veey helpful. I would recommend the penthouse.

The price was very reasonable, and I'm sure to recommend Kiama, and this apartment to all my family and friends. Thank you once again for all you help and support when we needed it! It made our stay 100 times better. And we would like to thank the property manager, June, when we had trouble finding the apartment and getting locked out! Thank you again, the apartment was simply one word .. Perfect.

Beautiful Property

Loved staying here with my 4 daughters for a girly weekend away, Probably just suggest a bigger outdoor dinning to fully take in the views <3

A beautiful outlook

For such an expensive property it would be expected that services such as lighting and plumbing would be checked and made functional PRIOR to guests arriving. This would avoid having to wait for the repairer fixing these things during our holiday occupancy.

What a great place to stay and relax

I have been staying at the penthouse @ platinum for the past 3 years what a great place, so close to shops, clubs, restaurants great view and a great balcony to sip a wine and watch the sun go down hope to stay again soon Ron Hodder
