Parking lot was so dirty… hallways smelled toilet kept getting flooded back door never locks anyone with out a key can get in and out our door didn’t shut right to our room… we had to slam hard make sure it shut right.

Check-in was a little awkward as the staff was distracted by their bare foot child running around. The room itself was rather dirty, had a foul odor, and the sink and shower had draining issues as well as the vent was dangeling from the ceiling. The room refrigerator had so much freezer build up it could not be closed. Veding drinks were warm. Ice machine out of order. Pool area looked dirty. Didnt risk trying breakfast. Will not stay again. Do not recommend!

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay on the off season, and don’t care about how clean or new it is, then this is your place. We paid $145 for two nights. The staff told me the rooms go to $189 per night in June. I would have been very upset if we had paid that much for our room. The pool area was disgusting! If they did an intense cleaning, it would not have been so bad.

At 8:43 pm, I called the hotel to make sure the front desk was open 24 hours/day, because I was going to arrive later than planned. I was told by the individual working at the front desk that it would be open. I arrived at 2:10 am, and there was a sign that said “Be right back! For immediate assistance, pick up the phone & dial 0”….which I did about 20 times. No one would answer. I tried calling the hotel number from my cell 6 times, and no one answered. After 20 minutes of trying to get someone to answer & check me into the room I had prepaid for, I left and got a room at a neighboring hotel.

A very nice stay for $40! Check in and out were easy, comfortable rooms and beds, continental breakfast was a nice touch. Pool and hot tub nice perks! Would recommend for another stay! They also offer discounted water park tickets to Kalahari!

My friends and I stayed here this weekend and we have no complaints , we had a great stay. The lady at the front was so sweet and went out of her way to get us everything we needed. I recommend this hotel. We also got discounted Kalahari tickets!!!

Not a future first choice.
This site is in need of maintenance and renovation. The electronic lock on my room door was attached with shipping tape. Tub was chipped and poorly patched. Small sink without place to put anything. No place to hang clothes. Fan and heater were noisy. Room was not fully cleaned.

Probably won't stay here again.
We got charged a $7 convenience fee upon arrival, they said it was for use of things like the wifi and pool... The booking said free wifi and we didn't even plan on using it... Also breakfast was supposed to start at 6:00am and at 6:30 the lights weren't even on yet.

Unmonitored doors weren't secured, anyone could come and go. Service charge and amount not disclosed when booking. Property seems to be properly cleaned and maintained, but it shows it's age. Carpeting and fixtures past their life, etc.

February dells stay
Room was clean and fairly up to date for a super 8. Breakfast was terrible. Yogurt was a week past expiration date and bagels were stale and inedible. They also charged a $7 surcharge with no up front notice. I’ve never had another hotel charge that in my years of using hotels.com.

Hotel was very dated but in decent condition, room was still dirty, had cracker crumbs on nite stand and something stuck on one of the bedsheet, lights in room did not work next to the bed at all
