Loved our little cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. Such a lovely cabin with updated fixtures. The AC worked beautifully on super hot days. My son was upset we had to leave! Will defin stay again!

Xmas Mtn Timbers

Short stay at Timbers was good! We had a 2 bedroom with a king bed and a queen bed. That was the only difference with the advertisement and the stay. The outdoor pool was close by but the resort closed it early at 8pm almost all the days of the stay. The outdoor hot tub at the main reservation building was broken as well. Everything else was good!

Third Year at This Resort!

This was our third year at this resort. However- this review is actually not for the cabin in the picture, but for the deluxe townhouse. When I confirmed our reservation, we were made aware that we were being upgraded from the cabin (in the picture) to the townhouse. It was a fair upgrade, and definitely accommodated our family, however, the cabin would still be a better fit for us. (The townhouse we stayed in was much larger, had quite a bit of stairs, and the kitchen layout was a bit challenging). However, everything was wonderful as always and we look forward to returning. This location is great because there is so much to do in the area, and you don't have to break the bank. Then, the resort itself is a great place to stay and has so much to offer for free. Our host was very responsive to all our questions via email and phone call. This was greatly appreciated and helped our vacation run smooth. Thank you for making this property available, we highly recommend, (and have already recommended!) and can't wait to return!

Customer service is poor

The location is great. The condo/cabin was nice but very poor customer service. I received a call two days before we were to leave on our trip and advised that we were being upgraded Monday to Friday for no charge. I asked what about our nights for Saturday and Sunday. They said those were canceled because they could not contact the owners of the cabin. They were leaving that out of the deal trying to get me to sign. I told them how unhappy I was as we were meeting friends over the weekend. I accepted as I didn’t want to lose our whole trip. They advised they would send me a new updated schedule by the next day and refund for the weekend. The next day came and I never received anything. I called again and asked where my updated schedule was and refund. They then stated they found us a place to stay Saturday and Sunday and already paid for it and we would not receive a refund. I asked why wasn’t I notified of this. I canceled on my friends and I canceled my dog sitter. They did not have an answer. I told them I wanted my new itinerary before hanging up with them. When we got to the location the front desk was quite rude. We checked in but the room wasn’t ready and they advised they could not give me the WiFi code until they gave me the room key. During our stay I also called the restaurant to place an order. They asked me to hold then they hung up on me. Even though the places are quite nice to stay, I would not go back due to the poor customer service

Sweet Little Cabin

We enjoyed our stay in a log cabin at Christmas Mountain Village. It was just the right amount of space for our family of four. We took advantage of one of the outdoor pools, as well as the proximity to other Dells attraction. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. Would stay again!

Disappointed

Much smaller than I expected for the price. There was no linen for let out couch. Cabin for 6 and there was 2 towels in the bathroom and 1 roll of tissue which we didn't need anyway because my first night the water didn't work from 10pm til 10am. We couldn't flush toilet,shower,cook breakfast(we brought lots of food and had to buy fast food). Wifi wouldn't work properly. We called guest services many times and kept getting disconnected. Never received an explanation, apology or compensation for water being off for 12 hours. I would not suggest this place or stay here again

Image in VRBO listing is not real property

The image that is in the VRBO app is not the same as the property that we were given at the time of check-in. The image was a cabin property that we checked into was more like a townhome. However the property was nice well taken care of. I didn’t like how the property management company tried to talk us into doing some sort of a seminar on how to buy into one of their properties my goal was to go on vacation not to get stuck in some sales timeshare crap.

Christmas Mountain Resort, WI

The facility is wonderful. Contrary to the directions given by VRBO, the entrance is on Coon Bluff Rd., not on Lyndon Rd and the check time is 4:00, not Noon and check out is 10:00 not 11:00.

Loved the cabin! Perfect for a family getaway. We got a great deal on the stay but it would be well worth full price!
