"We had a wonderful stay at this quaint and quiet tiny house in Bar Harbor. The accommodations were exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. Although we did not use the fire pit, that would be a nice addition to the cool Fall night. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable, and the hot shower was a welcome treat after a day of exploring Acadia. It was the perfect peaceful retreat and just what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!"

"Our stay at the James House was very relaxing. We had 3 generations and comfortably housed 7 of us. The layout was great, the kitchen was well stocked and the fishing on Chemo Lake was unmatched. We rented a pontoon boat from Josh as well and that process was smooth and seemed, allowing us to fish, tube and explore the lake daily. I would highly recommend. If you are not an early riser, I would be aware that there is a landscaping company located directly across the road from the house which did...

"My family wanted a peaceful Maine vacation on a pond. We were very blessed to have found the perfect cottage with the most amazing views overlooking the water. The cottage itself was extremely clean, very well stocked, decorated beautifully, and had so many amenities, including a dishwasher and air conditioning - both a rarity in a Maine cottage. The hosts were kind and very gracious. Given the chance, my family and I would not hesitate to rent again next year. "

"We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. "Stayed in the green cottage. It was clean and well kept. It is small but has everything you need. Perfect for a couple or single person. It’s in a good spot, close enough to everything around. "

"A quaint and clean stay. Mattress were all comfortable but we didn’t sleep in the daybed. There were two cold air conditioners in the upstairs bedrooms. The bathroom was clean and updated but on the main floor. It was not a problem for us but it could be helpful to know-f it was in the listing, I missed it. We made a stop on our way at the grocery and found everything we needed to prepare our meals, in the kitchen. Grill was in good shape. Washer and dryer with soap and dryer sheets...

"The property was clean, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The lake front is beautiful, quiet and easily accessible. Kids were able to enjoy the full advantage of the water play with kayaking and paddle boarding. We highly recommend the property for family vacation to escape to nature. "

" Beautiful property! Stayed here with my 80 year old mom, 3 kids and a dog. Bunkhouse had everything we needed. The whole property is very well maintained and clean. The screened in porch was perfect for evening relaxation. The location right on the lake was exactly what we were looking for. Sunrise and sunset kayaking was absolutely heavenly. We saw family of Loons and Heron fishing by the shore. Highly recommend!"
