Great Summer in the mountains getaway

Very neat, clean, and nice view of the mountain and gondola. Convenient location to the shops and restaurants in Winter Park village. Easy access to the bike shop and Trestle Bike Park for our days of downhill biking. Close enough for our day trips to RMNP, Grand Lake, Monarch Lake (Bull moose sighting on that hike!).

Slopeside Gem

Excellent job on the remodel, and updated WiFi and Smart TV are appreciated (especially during March Madness). This is a good looking, functional, and comfortable unit. We had yet another fantastic ski trip with WPLC. Usually stay in Riverside building (not a value judgement, we just slightly prefer the ski access) but 1601 is a winner all the way around.

Good location for a mountain biking adventure at Trestle. Note the coin laundry in the description is on the floor, not in the unit. Mtn bike storage was handy in the parking garage.

Beautiful condo, very clean and quiet. Weird to say but I felt like I was at home here. The place was a little on the warm side and there is no AC, but opening up the balcony door and putting a fan to pull in fresh air made it overall very comfortable. Parking was a little bit of a cluster. I was traveling in a sprinter van. The front desk instructed me to park in a dirt lot across from the front desk. However, there is a parking structure with an open upper floor on the backside of the property that is a much closer walk. Overall, very happy with the choose to stay here.

Great ski in / ski out condo

This condo was exactly what I was looking for. It is truly a ski in / ski out rental. All we did is put on our ski boots, take the elevator down to the 2nd floor, grab our skis & poles out of our personal locker, walk right outside by the hot tub, step on to the slopes, put on our skis, and ski down to the gondola. At the end of the day, we would ski to the same point by the hot tub and walk right back in. Very convenient. The condo complex is located in the middle of Winter Park village so easy to get a drink or a meal. The condo itself was cozy and comfortable. We were very happy with our decision to stay here.

Excellent location, facing the slopes, right next to the Gondola. Would be perfect for skiing right in. We were here in June and it was lovely. Lots of fun things to do in summer. Winter Park day pass is worth it. We hiked, picnicked on the trail, rode the Alpine slide, had dinner at the top of the gondola, live music & happy hour, hiked down at sunset. Hot tub to relax at night. Great weekend trip. No AC but opened windows and the cool mountain air kept us very comfortable. An hour drive to Golden where we went rock climbing

Brilliant accommodation on an amazing vacation

This apartment is perfect for a family of four. It is located right on the spot and perfect for almost everything. Ski-in ski-out with a big ski locker and you can literally ski down to the gondola in about 10 seconds. The apartment itself is on the quiet side of the building facing the mountain and is well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. The hot tubs outside the building were great after a day on the slopes and the gas fireplace in the apartment makes sure you are cosy and warm as you watch the snow fall outside the window. The furnishings are tasteful and the place is an amazing winter escape for families looking for a quiet but well located apartment. The communication from WPLC was also first rate and we will definitely book through them again if we return to Winter Park for another race camp. Five stars.

Excellent Rental

We stayed in 1601 and it was fantastic. Wonderful views, excellent customer service, and loved that the unit had spices and other kitchen items that you don't usually get in a rental. This was our 3rd time at Zephyr and we will definitely be back!

Everything was described well and the place was a little warm at night, but we were also made aware of that. The only downfall of a slope side is the early morning noise, but we expected that as well. This has been our favorite place to stay so far and the staff was excellent as well. I would reccomend.

Loved it!

We stayed in 1601 with our adult son and his wife, 2 couples in all. It was the prefect setup. The place is small but the owners have thought of everything. The furniture was all very comfortable. Great beds. The kitchen is small but so efficient. Had everything we needed. And the condo was super clean. Loved that we could text someone and get an immediate nice response about questions. We will be back!

Couple of observations: 1) Measuring cup was shattered. Please replace 2) Spongy floor coverings in the bathroom do not look like they have been washed recently. Maybe they have, but appearances matter. 3) Carpet is showing wear.

A place to relax after playing hard.

Nice place to relax listening to the breeze push through the trees on the deck. During the summer in Colorado we take advantage of the cooler evenings to freshen up a hot house but this was not an option because there are no screens on the windows. If you leave the windows open without screens you will be sharing the house with mosquitoes, gnats & anything else that flys or even crawls to the lights inside. This would not be to big a deal if any of these condos had AC, but they do not. Not sure if any condos in WP have AC to tell the truth. So if you like a hot west wind from an oscillating Greek god fan you should have a comfortable stay. The flatscreens in all the rooms equipped with Apple TV was great & kept my kids entertained until they fell asleep. If it was my place I would tweak some things, like the kitchen sink position, window screens and lighting over the master tub/shower but @ this point I might just be complaining to much. Bottom line it was good enough to shower and get some sleep slope-side. Would be great for a winter time stay. I will be gunning for my next summer stay in a 2 bed condo across the creek & street from here on out.

Perfectly orchestrated stay at Zephyr Mtn.Lodge

My family and I have traveled all over the US and often work thru rental management companies to set up our accomodations. From the minute I made our reservations, until the actual arrival in Winter Park and during our stay, I was impressed and relieved with the attention and care the rental team gave. Zephyr Mtn. Lodge 1601 was just as I saw in the photos, clean and comfortable with all the expected amenities. We would rent the same unit again!

1601-Excellent room and location!

Slopeside 1601 was the perfect spot for our family of five! The room was the right size. The location at the base was great. Ski locker on the second floor, then just walk over to the second floor exit, up a small hill, then ski down to the gondola/private lesson center. 1st floor entrance is just steps from the West Portal, Starbucks, Lime (great hot chocolate), and Pizza Pedal'r for the best pizza in Colorado! (Pizza Pedal'r has great gluten free pizza if, like me, you have a family member with celiac.) The management company was also very responsive. Plus a 15% discount for return guests. Will definitely rent from Winter Park Lodging and/or Steamboat Lodging in the future.
