The location for us was perfect. I think it took less than 2 minutes to get to the mountain. Lots of space and beds to accomodate my large family.

Great place for families!

Everything about this property is awesome! It's location is a short walk/bus ride to the Winter Park Resort as well as a short bus ride into downtown Winter Park. The amenities are fantastic - our kids loved the hot tub and foosball table. The kitchen is a chef's dream with a gas range and double ovens, making cooking for large groups a breeze. Having five bedrooms gave everyone their own space and let folks sleep in if they wanted to. We can't wait to go back!

The perfect place for families

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this chalet in Winter Park. When we think about what a vacation home needs to have, this house has it all. The den for kids with games is a perfect companion to the living room for adults. The kitchen is well stocked, has an abundance of spices, knives, cutting boards, plates, wine glasses you name it (and a wine fridge). The house is extremely cozy, and stays well insulated and warm in the winter months. You can literally walk to the lifts from this house (albeit a small hill to walk up but very manageable--it's very fun to slide down the hill on the way back. The bedding is very comfortable, and everyone feels like they have their own space. One of our favorite features of this house is it's proximity to the creek and when you wash dishes, you're staring into a tranquil flowing creek. Finding this type of house is rare, so happy to know it exists.

Great place and setting in old town. Skied down the road to the shuttle and skied over the tracks back to the house. Kitchen and amenities were very good.

The property was on a river which was wonderful, but the road behind it did not offer privacy. The staircase was low and many heads were bumped. The neighborhood was dicey, trash was left in road. Good layout for family activists.

Everything you could ask for & more

This home was the perfect place for a large group. There were enough rooms and beds to have your own space, while also have multiple living areas to lounge and relax. The kitchen is very stocked with most cooking utensils and spices you would need to cook a great meal. The Hot Tub next to the creek was a great way to end a hard ski day. This house will be on our list in the future!

We enjoyed our week at this house! The kitchen was particularly well stocked with supplies to make Thanksgiving dinner and the property manager responded promptly to our questions. We will definitely come back!

5 Star location

The house is perfectly located within walking distance to Winter Park resort. It also sits alongside a creek that provides the perfect ambience next to the fire pit and hot tub. You are a short bike ride into the town of Winter Park. Four bikes are provided. The home is obviously a bit older but has had some nice, recent updates. The sleeping setup was ideal for our group (see floor plan) as the upstairs bedrooms are isolated from the sound downstairs. My only complaint would be the exterior grounds (landscaping) were somewhat unkept. Overall a great stay for our group of 10.

Snowy Getaway

We booked this property for our family of 10 for a 3-day weekend in the mountains. We drove 11 hours from Oklahoma and were welcomed to this beautiful property and is the best stocked kitchen we have ever been in at a rental! It was beautiful scenery and peaceful - We were sad to see the fireplace was not working once we arrived, but we enjoyed the weekend regardless. We will rebook!

Perfect long weekend

This house was perfect in all ways. It was roomy, well stocked and just as described in the listing. It was about a five or six minute walk to the closest lift and there is a trail you can take that keeps you from having to walk down the road. Coming back to the house we were able to ski back via another shortcut trail., so that was a bonus! The hot tub was just what we needed after a long day on the slopes. I highly recommend this house.

Great Spot

Great house with plenty of room. Stayed with my wife and 3 kids. Close enough to the slopes to walk. It's about a 5 minute walk to the slopes that gets you to the Gemini lift. Have to walk up a steep bank, but after that it is flat. This house is in the old town area, very quiet and secluded. Kitchen was great if you are looking to prepare meals at home. Would rent again.

Wonderful creekside home. Plenty of space and cozy comfort

We had a great time. Creek next to cabin was wonderful. The fence made it safe for our little to run around and splash in the hot tub. Parents hung around the fire pit. Rooms were just the right size. Was great having two bunk bed rooms and two kinds and the single queen room let everyone have plenty of space. We were so close to the resort. We were able to ride our bikes or walk over. The garage was handy to store our bicycles overnight. Would absolutely come again.

The property was great but pay particular attention to the square footage of this property in ad. Not the pictures. Other than assuming the pictures accurate on size, the property was fine. Glad the four out of eight persons backed out of trip or we would have been very crowded in the house.

Great ski house for large group

Great house for going with a group to Winter Park. While not actually “ski-in/ski-out”, the slopes can be accessed via walking up a small hill and across the railroad tracks to arrive at the Gemini lift. Also conveniently located 0.25 mile from a convenient drop off location with a short walk across bridge to the Gondola. The house itself is very serviceable. But tub in the back is nice. Two main gathering areas and large table for the group to eat at. All kitchen appliances easy to use. Bedrooms nicely situated to avoid as much noise as possible from the main gathering area. Beds were a little on the soft side for our taste but not enough to be a true complaint. All of the extra perks from renting with WP escapes are a HUGE bonus as well. Would stay again with them if returning to Winter Park

Fun by the creek

The house was lovely and probably gives a great first impression when snow-covered. When we drove by it we were concerned because of the weeds,, or what looked like weeds, in the front and side yards. It just did not looked groomed. And we do rent houses all the time but not in this area. Happily, the house was great, the creek was fun, everyone enjoyed the hot tub, and we were happy to see that there were actually some spices and extras in the cabinets.

Property was ok but the kitchen had 3 bags of trash in the floor and one of the showers still had wet towels left in it. Trash was outside around the hot tub. Could not safely pull in garage because of the build up of ice in front of the door. Dangerous amount of ice and snow hanging over the entrance of the porch. The house was ok but it is in need of some TLC.
