Amazing location and very well equipped
Truly ski in and ski out. Just walk outside and across a tiny bridge and you are on the ski trail. Every detail you could need was provided including local transportation and restaurants. We had a great time!

Ski In/ Ski Out Excellent Flat
We spent four days in this condo right on the mountain. It has plenty of space for four adults, and it has a completely well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook great lunches and dinners. Easy communication with the host helped us feel confident that if we needed anything she’d be there for us. Great stay, amazing powder (7” in a day), and a memorable trip.

Spring Break ski trip
We had a wonderful time at this property! We loved the convenience of the ski in/out and enjoyed the hot tubs each night! Margie was wonderful with communication and everything was just as it was stated in the listing! We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was very clean. Communication with the host was excellent. There were a few glitches beginning with the code to enter the condo but was resolved quickly. Also, the property maintained 1 of the 2 hot tubs during our 5 day visit. Also the steam sauna in ladies locker room was not functioning the whole time. And as far as ski in and out. Well, if you are a beginner skier, that was not true. I was able to ski out but would have to had taken a blue run on the expert side of the mountain to get to the ski in path. The Lift shuttle is free but runs slow and only every 30 min from the condos.

Great condo great location
Great spacious condo perfect for our family ski vacation. Condo is as pictured and includes everything needed to feel like home. Best location for ski in/ski out at Winterpark…right next to the stairs and one flight below the walkway to Corridor run. Will definitely stay again when in Winterpark.

Family Ski Trip
Great location to ski Winter Park. Exactly as described. Spotless and had everything we needed. Convenient lodge with hot tub, game room and well thought out ski storage for easy ski in and out.

This condo was in a great location. It is ski in/ski out and the unit is close to the trail. Margery (the host) was wonderful. We had a great time skiing and enjoying being right on the mountain. Hope to return soon.

Located right next to the slopes, very easy access in and out. Well-kept unit, with nice extras, like shampoo, and body lotion. Kitchen well provisioned. Nice, pool and hot tub. Great communication by host.

Great location.
Great ski in/out location right off green Corridor run which spurs off the lower part of Mary Jane trail. Owner was very responsive - quickly emailing answers to a few key questions we had before we decided to rent the unit. Condo was walkable to WP resort village, but coming home in the dark after apres or dinner will be a bit of a pain and you don’t want to do it in ski boots. While condo is dated and there’s no washer/dryer in unit, it had everything our family needed. Overall, exactly as we expected. Fantastic value for the $$$. Five stars.

Perfect ski in/ski out
I brought my husband and two kids for a long ski weekend. It was perfect for us. We were able to ski out and get first tracks and then either ride the shuttle or ski back in (if your kiddos cannot ski blues, ski-in would be tricky, but the shuttle is a great alternative). The pool and hot tubs were a huge hit too. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect ski in/ski out location!
The location of this property - in the Iron Horse Resort - could not have been better for ski-in/ski-out. In fact, not only is the resort in general a good location, but this particular condo is even at the very end basically closest to the trail (just go one flight up to get to outside trail). The condo itself is a bit dated and the lighting is not very bright. But, we are all there to ski so I put that in the "not a big deal" column. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Margie was super responsive - we had no issues during our stay, but she answered questions beforehand and even checked in while we were there. Also, there is a ski rental shop on the first floor of the condo! Super convenient. Alas, we didn't know about that when I reserved our equipment, so rented from the village which was fine, but would have been easier right at our building. All in all, absolutely loved it and highly recommend!

Nice Getaway
Had a great time during our stay in Winter Park. Location of the condo was perfect, only a stones throw away from the village. Actually stayed in the village last year and was awakened a few times during the night from noise right outside. Not here. Very quiet and has all the essentials you need to make it a pleasant stay. My only critique is the code for the common areas and access to the condo. If there is a way to make the temporary code easier to memorize would be helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Winter Park 2022
The condo is very convenient for ski in/ski out. Clean, comfortable and plenty of room for our crew. It's an older condo, but everything works great and the location is perfect. When we go back to Winter Park this is where we'll stay. Thanks!

All around GREAT PROPERTY & GREAT HOST...but FYI for snowboarders...
Great place, nice location and nice amenities (sauna, heated pool & hot tubs). It was a solid ski-in, ski-out with neat access to the mountain. The one caveat with this location is that it leads to the "Corridor" run, which is more or less a catwalk between the MJ & WP bases. In fresh powder, snowboards will be struggling. That is the ONLY less-than-stellar aspect of this location. The rest is GREAT! Host is awesome, and very helpful (esp. when the renters don't read all the materials carefully enough--sorry!). Thanks for a great stay!

Loved the ski in/ski out
We’ve been to Winter Park many times, but this was our first stay at Iron Horse. The condo was very clean, but could be perfect with a refresh, and it definitely could use more lights (especially in the kitchen). The unit is in a great location within the building for easy access to the slopes. We had everything we needed and had a comfortable stay. Margie was very responsive to any questions we had, and was a pleasure to interact with. We’d definitely stay here again.

Margie K. is an amazing property manager!
Our stay was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the property manger Margie K. was so accommodating and offered the best communication and customer service we have ever received. She went out of her way to assist and answer questions on our travel into Co. and on then was very helpful on the abrupt exit due to the Covid-19.

Long Weekend Ski Getaway in ski in/out condo
Great location in Winter Park with easy ski in/out access! It was perfect for an extended weekend ski trip with my son and his girlfriend. We enjoyed the hot tub and steam room and the game area after skiing. The condo has the basic spices plus coffee, tea and hot chocolate, which were very welcome after skiing! Margie responded very quickly to all of my questions and provided very helpful documents on the condo and local area to make our stay very enjoyable

Convenient & reasonable
We absolutely love this location, so close to the 5th floor bridge to corridor leading down to The Gondola. Perfect size for 4-5 guys who both enjoy skiing and the after glow of eating and visiting.

Spacious w/ the best location!
This condo is very spacious and very well stocked with everything you need for your stay. It is in an amazing location too. The owners are incredibly responsive and very helpful if there's anything you need. The resort amenities are great too: ski in/out, indoor/outdoor heated pool, huge hot tubs, game room, work out room, & heated garage parking. It's a great place to stay!

perfect for a WP weekend
This condo was perfect for our weekend in Winter Park. Very convenient to walk or ride bikes the short distance to the base village. The property was very quiet even though it was a busy weekend at the village with the mountain bike competition. Margery was great to work with! We would definitely stay here again!

Good stay, would stay again
Nice, convenient location. Ski in and ski out is hard to beat. Unit is in the perfect place. Owners were awesome. Very helpful. Property and unit are a bit outdated and needed some care from us. We had to unclog the drains in both showers, but the supplies were available. Also, the kitchen is very well stocked, but drawers were so full that a couple of them were hard to open. Also had to throw out some outdated food and move other things from cabinets so we would have room for our food. Would be nice to be able to change out the towels. Great for a large family. We would stay again, even with the negatives; friendly available owners, location and space are worth it.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay despite the few problems you encountered. We did reach out to the cleaning company and made sure that they address all the challenges you encountered such as disposing of outdated food and other. I'm surprised there were problems with the drains in the showers as we have drain covers that are supposed to be used by our guests, but perhaps a prior guest chose not to use them, so I apologize for that problem and will make sure the cleaners check that in the future while cleaning. And thank you for having an awesome handy husband who replaced the light bulb in the bathroom.

Great location in Iron Horse
We had a great time skiing at Winter Park and really enjoyed the convenience of our apartment. It is so nice to come in for lunch and relax after a morning of skiing and recharging for the afternoon. The apartment was clean, comfortable and it had a very well stocked kitchen (pots, utensils, coffee, etc.). Margery was very helpful and responsive. The pre-arrival packet was full of useful information. There were five of us, staying in the apartment. The beds in the master bedroom and second room were comfortable. The mattress on the murphy bed in the living room could possibly be replaced as it indents were people sleep. We solved our discomfort by placing the pillows at the opposite side of the bed. Overall, this is a fantastic place. We have been to Winter Park 3 times and this apartment was our favorite.

Super easy and convenient ski crash pad for a family
While it is not a luxury property, it is everything a family needs for a ski vacation. Ski rental and storage in the same building as the unit. Easy bridge access to ski-in ski-out trail. The unit itself is clean and well appointed with everything you need to be comfortable and have fun. The unit owner is super helpful and responsive, above and beyond other property owners I've encountered. Our family enjoyed the pool, hot tubs and game room. We would definitely go back and stay in this unit Summer of Winter.

Comfy, great location, great value
This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is located right next to the green run that connects Mary Jane to Winter Park Resort. Pop on your skis and slide down to the lift. We visited in summer, so this made for a nice, short walk to the restaurants and shops at the base of the Winter Park Resort slopes. On site parking made it easy to hop in the car and head into Winter Park town. The kitchen has everything you'd need for cooking. We saved money by preparing breakfast and lunches in the kitchen. The condo has cable, wifi, books for relaxing in the eve. THANK YOU to the owners for providing the 'CO Mountain Lake Hikes' book. We did a couple of those and they were fantastic! Our two daughters (6 yrs, 22 mos) shared the room with two twin beds. The younger slept in the pack-n-play provided by the condo owners. Thank you. There is also a murphy bed that could sleep two which we did not open (did I mention I have a 6 year old?). The master bed was big and comfy. [Minor suggestion: our youngster is a bit of a wanderer during meals; a seat-belted booster seat would pair nicely with the pack-n-play. (I should have asked and perhaps brought our own :)] Overall, this place was a great launching pad for our explorations in the area, and a comfortable place to land in the evenings. And the summer rate was very affordable. I would happily rent this same condo again, and would recommend it to friends and family.
