Clemens two weeks skiing

The stay in this condo was nice. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was sufficent and well stocked with cookware. THe bed was very comfortable, the couch was used as seating for all four of us, was most comfortable for watching TV made out like a bed. The location tot he rec center was right next door. Two suggestions, the space needs a sturdy coffee table since the only eating area is the kitchen counter top. Would also be nice to have an outside bench for removing ski boots. Had to remove the boots inside which mad a wet floor that had to be mopped up.

Good place for the price. 2nd floor unit so had to carry bags, groceries and dogs up and down stairs too many times. Place needs a paint job as the sea foam green color in the living room makes it appear it's from the 70:s. The fireplace didn't allow our wood to continue to burn even with the flume open. Not sure why..maybe no oxygen circulating.Overall, enjoyed our stay with all the necessary amenities, kitchen supplies and cable TV channels. Thanks.

Nice place but lack of communication

The place and area was nice. Very close to downtown winter park. My only complaint is that all the hot tubs were down when I was there. That was the main reason I booked this spot and it was highly advertised in the listing title and description. I was looking forward to hot tub after a long day of hiking but I couldn't. There was no communication from the property manager that they would be down and when I reached out I got no information. Very disappointed with that

Just Me and My Dog

The property was spotless and comfortable. Exactly as described. Great location. Comfortable bed. My dog enjoyed all the trails around the property as well as the beautiful lake under the one lane bridge. I had forgotten how beautiful it is there.

Just what we needed

The property was perfect for our long stay in Colorado. Just steps from trails and forrest but also super walkable for restaurants and shops. The place was clean and we had everything we needed. Very comfortable.

Love the location and clean bright space

Everything was great and right next to the pool/hot tub area. Absolutely loved the unit. Was a little disgusted to have the cleaning people start entering the property at 10 minutes before check out. I feel like I want those 10 minutes back but.. if that’s the worst thing I’ll take it. Great property.

Great Winter Park Location

This was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. Very clean and the location in Winter Park is wonderful with easy walkability into town. The only thing we found difficult was maneuvering around the bed in the rather small bedroom as the furniture is quite large for the space. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Great location for Winter Park ski resort

Hi Country Haus is a well-managed set of condos if you're looking for a vacation with Winter Park ski resort as the primary destination. The condo was as listed, decent wifi speed, good heat insulation, good snow removal/salting/sanding management around the parking lot and staircases.

Not Comfortable

Tiny bedroom that literally had me walk sideways to get into my side of the bed (and I'm not fat). All the other buildings in the complex had clear building numbers. This one we couldn't find at first, then used a map near the entrance to the complex to guess which building it should be. Unit was on second floor with stairs that would not meet current building codes (very steep). Nice remodel job on the interior. Dishwasher overflowed when we tried to run it at time of departure.

Perfect in so many ways

Wow. The ad information is very accurate: many food options just steps away, one steak/shrimp place was in the same big parking lot as the condo! Turn around after eating and take just a few steps the other way and you feel you are in a national park: two lakes...one that you can hike around, an active river, and the entrance to the Fraser River hiking trail...suitable for walking, hiking, biking, baby-strolling. Nearby stores for buying your own food and liquor. Would we stay here again....well, YES. We wish we were still there right now. Enjoy!

No pool, no hot tub, no laundry!

The post tells you that the pool, hot tub and laundry are available. Then after you book, which is non-refundable, they tell you it’s closed. The lady at the property said it has been closed for a year!!! A year is plenty of time to change the post to reflect the fact that the pool, hot tub and laundry are closed!!! Vacasa was reasonable and gave me a reasonable credit, but we still had no pool, laundry or hot tub to use. Those amenities were why we booked this property. The post should be changed.
