Awesome location with an unbeatable view of the mountain. Shuttle picks up right behind the house every 20 minutes so getting to the lifts is very convenient. Place was spacious, beautiful, and well stocked. Hosts responded to questions immediately and offered great tips. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a ski weekend!

Fantastic home! Very spacious and accommodating. Host was very quick to respond with all questions and concerns. Great location with a bus stop to Winter Park Ski slopes just minutes away. Family Reunion Perfection!

This property offered everything we needed! Five families were able to all stay together in this one location. Each bedroom had its own bathroom plus there was an extra guest bath on the main level, which was really nice. The downstairs game area was a great place to catchup over a game of pool or ping pong. The kiddos loved the bunk room. The rooms (and house location) were quiet and comfortable. The location was great for walking the pup every day as well. And let's not forget the breakfasts and dinners out on the patio with the great views!! This location is close to the Winter Park Resort. I highly recommend going on the Gondola when it is free (there is a happy hour on the top of the mountain with great views, drinks, and live music). Every morning, a group of us ran the Fraser River Trail from Winter Park to Fraser and back. It was peaceful, level and soft. Both Winter Park and Fraser offer plenty of small shops and restaurants to enjoy. We also stocked up on groceries to have our own breakfast and dinner at the home's spacious kitchen. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Home - Perfect for a large family

The house was just perfect. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms and bathrooms were a great size. Comfortable and roomy! There was plenty of space for all of us to relax after skiing in the living/family rooms. It was a huge bonus to have the downstairs family/pool room! Winter Park Lodging was also fantastic. Their response time for any questions was excellent. Their communication during our stay was respectful and helpful. I can’t wait to return to Winter Park and would 100% stay at Lakota Reserve! It is a fabulous home!

A few suggestions for the house:

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful house and would book it again. The view is outstanding, the kitchen worked so well when preparing food and serving food from the countertop. I heard the beds were all comfortable, kids did enjoy the bunk room. I heard no criticism from our group about anything in the house. Great design. For some improvements, we would suggest: A better dish washer, the one there does not dry the dishes and we had to towel dry several dishes and glassware - two dishwashers would be great for large groups like ours. One window on the wall in the dining room would not fully close. (Window closest to the porch) The grill needs to be cleaned. We only used it twice and had a serious grease fire one evening A special place inside for recycling would be helpful - maybe in the laundry room. We really enjoyed our week and the gift basket was a welcome surprise when we arrived. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing property !

This house is exceptional. We had eleven adults and one infant, and it was perfect. King, Queen, and bunk beds. Lots of amenities, everything was well stocked. The beds were comfy and the decor beautiful. And much, much more!

Mountain Bike Trip

This property exceeded all expectations. Very clean and well maintained. Amazing views of the mountain and located very close to the slopes. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. Plenty of space for multiple families to enjoy this property.

Terrific Home

Lakota Reserve fit our group perfectly. From the well stocked kitchen (2 crockpots, multiple pots and pans of various sizes, outdoor grill, spacious food prep areas and a big dining table) to the comfortable bedrooms (most ensuite), a hot tub, pool table/pingpong we were set. Our family of all ages had quiet spaces and gathering areas. The base of Winter Park Resort is within walking distance (3/4 mile downhill - keep in mind you have to walk back UP!). The towns of Winter Park and Frasier are minutes away by car. We hiked, biked, and explored the area with our kids and grandkids. Winter Park Management went above and beyond and kept us informed of mtc on the hot tub and even brought ice knowing the ice maker was inop. Many thanks for making us feel welcome! Can’t wait to return!

Family Gathering

It was easy to book the Lakota Reserve. We were notified when payment was due. It was easy to check in. The management team was readily available and came quickly when we requested additional supplies. The location has a great view of the mountains and activities at Winter Park. The house is as advertised, the bedrooms easily accommodate 5 couples with separate bathrooms, and the bunk room also has its own bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with tons of lovely Crate and Barrel dinnerware and great cookware by Caphalon — very impressed with the quality of the kitchenwares. We would come again.

Perfect in every way!

What an amazing home for our extended family to come together in beautiful Winter Park! We had 2 small children, 2 teens, and 10 adults - and we all had the time of our lives! Great meals for all cooked in a large kitchen with everything you would ever need! Almost all the couples had a king size bed and their own private bathroom! So much fun playing pool and ping pong and wonderful evenings in the hot tub! We played games, watched movies on nice big screen TV’s. So much room for everyone and amazing views! Definitely would want to stay right here if we make another trip back to Winter Park!

Great views and ideal location

Rented this home for an extended family ski vacation. Its location affords superb views of Winter Park resort and access to the mountain. The shuttle is less than a 50 yard walk from the front door plus only about a 2 minute drive over to the parking lot and/or passenger drop off. It’s about a 5 minute drive to downtown Winter Park with a plethora of dining and shopping options. The home is beautifully furnished, clean and has a very usable and well stocked kitchen. The home has plenty of lounging space on all 3 levels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Absolutely Perfect

The absolute perfect place to stay in Winter Park! This house is so comfortable, so well equipped and incredibly close to the mountain. We traveled with 7 kids, ages 6-14 and 5 adults. The bunk room slept all the boys and they had their private space. The teens girls grabbed the downstairs bedrooms so they could be close to the fun, but have a space away from the boys. The teens absolutely loved the downstairs area. They played pool, enjoyed the hot tub and watched movies. The kitchen has everything you need to feed a large group. Tons of silverware, dishes, top notch appliances, crock pot. The upstairs area is beautiful and comfortable without feeling over the top. After skiing WP, we enjoyed the fire place and the beautiful views. The rental company texted everyday during our stay to ensure we were enjoying the property. A two minute walk to the WP bus, or a 5 minute drive to the $10 pay lot. Do not wait to rent this house!!!! We will be back!

Breathtaking!!

This property is even better than it looks in the pictures. With a large group, each couple was able to have their own room and privacy. We love to cook and the kitchen came with lots of supplies and utensils. The common areas were plenty big enough, hot tub and game room provided entertainment for the entire weekend! Would strongly recommend to anyone, the cleanliness and attention to detail make this property worth every penny!

A 40th Birthday to remember!

We booked this beautiful Cabin with spectacular views to celebrate my husband's 40th Birthday. His goal was to be able to relax with family and friends (18 of us!!) and that is exactly what we did. Every room in the Cabin has it's own bathroom and the interior decor and finishings are top notch. The exterior views, patio, and hot tub just made the trip even more memorable. Winter Park is a sweet little town with lots of friendly owners in small businesses that have struggled due to Covid. We tried to give them as much business as possible and also cooked at home a couple days! The hosts for this Unit were VERY kind and responsive! My family is talking about visiting again soon!! Thank you!!

Lakota Reserve

This property was perfect in every way. This property was one of the few to have 4 king size master bedrooms and since we were 4 retired couples, it was wonderful. The hot tub as thoroughly enjoyed and the clean Weber grill was perfect for our family grillmaster. Beautiful views of the slopes and easy access to the town of Winter Park. The bar was a bonus and enjoyed! We will definitely return in the future. There is so many sleeping rooms that we did not use since having 4 masters was important to us. Highly recommend!

Relaxing mountain home convenient to outdoor fun

Property management was excellent with attention to ongoing communication and a focus on our enjoyment of the visit. Our family reunion was filled with rest and fun around the house as well as many local outdoor mountain activities. Highly recommend this home and the location in Winter Park.
