My stay at silver lakes lake house was phenomenal. My daughter lives in winter haven and we intended to celebrate Christmas at the lake house. I was worried about having the needed dishes etc….this place had EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING! Dishes to make quiches, big pot to make sauce. Tons of dishes, a blender, waffle maker, mixer, you name it, it was there! Plenty of space for a large family gathering, including a huge dining room table. Ping pong table was a big hit with the kids. The lanai was perfect to relax. The last day we decided to be brave and use kayaks( fearing gators) It was great fun! Wish we took advantage of it the whole time. This place is exactly like the pictures. Your family will have a great time at this house!!

Perfect Lake house Vacay!

We were visiting from the Pensacola, FL. area and in town to visit the theme parks. The lake house was a perfect retreat, with a mix of old and new that made the house feel warm and inviting, as if we were visiting family. Would absolutely stay here again!

The backyard view of the lake was awesome. There's a rear deck as well several areas that gives you a really nice and relaxing view. The house was very spacious and can accommodate a large group. The wifi was strong and the host communication was informative and fast responding. Water pressure for showers seemed low.

Beautiful, Spacious Home

We really enjoyed this house. It was very spacious and had ample room for our family. We loved that our family dog was able to stay, too. The house had incredible seating… There was a huge table in the dining room, another table in the kitchen, and tables outside and on the enclosed porch. The beds in all the bedrooms were very comfortable, which was a huge bonus. We enjoyed the lake view and seeing the water skiers practice! We utilized the corn hole boards, the kayaks, and the grill. Everything was easy to find and use. The one time we needed to contact the owner (for a small issue on our part), she was very responsive and accommodating. Our kids raved about this house and how it was their favorite place we’ve stayed so far on spring break trips. I think our favorite parts were the enclosed porch (with cute string lights), the comfy beds, huge entertaining space, and the wildlife around the lake. We saw a crawfish in the lake & found some pretty shells. Definitely check this place out… You won’t be disappointed!

Spacious stay near downtown Winter Haven and Legoland

This house was spacious and accommodating for our family of four, and we could easily have fit more people with us! Walkable to downtown Winter Haven, but it is on a main road. That was okay for us, but you do hear cars and traffic at night so you have to be okay with that if you book this house! The lake is nice, but not as private and woodsy as other lake houses. If you’re looking for true lake house getaway, this may not be your number one choice. But if you’re looking for a clean, spacious, amenity filled home that’s close to restaurants and close to Legoland, this is your perfect place. We chose this house because we had a weekend planned at Legoland, and it worked out perfectly! Thank you!

February getaway

The size was excellent for our group. The property was very clean and comfortable. We were unaware of how close the hospital was and heard ambulance sirens through the night. It was quite close to a busy street and had a lot of traffic noise. Also, the king sheet was pilled on one of the beds and made it scratchy and uncomfortable so we bought a king sheet to put over it. We did enjoy the views and the spacious living area, and again it was exceptionally clean. We would definitely stay there again and will tell friends.

LAKEFRONT RETREAT

Everything we had hoped for and more! Clean, spacious, comfortable, convenient location for all we needed and excellent communication with the owners. It was so great to relax by the lake after running around in the heat all day. Really enjoyed our stay and the memories made on this trip!

Awesome Lake House 10 min from Legoland

If you are going to Legoland or simply want a lakeside retreat with your family, definitely consider this property. Walkable to parks and excellent tennis courts if that's your jam.

Lake retreat walking distance to downtown

We enjoyed the view, sipping coffee on the dock, observing wildlife, including hawks and alligators, having space for kids and adults to spread out and do different activities. We were there to visit with family and the house was perfect for our needs. Screened porch is nice and huge. Large bedrooms. We loved all the decorations and special touches. There is road noise when you’re out on the dock though so guests should know it’s a busier area and not a super quiet lake retreat. It would be a perfect place to stay for a weekend that Cypress Gardens does their ski show. You could probably watch from the dock!

Lots of room and very nice house
