"Clean room. Double and sofa bed for 3. Good sized warm room and bathroom. Nice location. Breakfast good - hot plate buffet as well as cereal / fruit/ yoghurt. Meals ok in bar. Run out of some things, so eat earlier ! Dont bother with cheese platter - small plate for £13 !! 😂. Would return"

"La relació qualitat preu no es correspon a un hotel de 4 estrelles. L’habitació era petita i les finestres donaven a les instal·lacions tècniques de l’hotel, en canvi el preu corresponia a una suite. Necessites un vehicle per arribar a l’hotel. Els serveis de personal i especialment la cuina son excelents. "

"Beautiful old hotel with amazing grounds & easy walk to the lake. The room was spacious for 3 adults & we were very well looked after. Only downside was mh husband not having his favourite bourbon & no tawny port for me!! Thats being picky!! "

"The room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent...quiet and beautiful ....Windermere has everything from supermarkets to craft and walking gear shops, pubs to a variety of restaurants. We parked the car in front of The Hideaway, it was just a few minutes walk into the town, and we could also easily drive out to other locations. The breakfasts were excellent (with very good veggie/vegan alternatives) served by super efficient and very friendly staff. We would...

"We LOVED our stay here! Our room was the “Grand Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, Garden View” in the newer building and the attention to detail was exceptional. Loved the large comfy bed, our cozy robes, the deep bathtub and accompanying luxury toiletries and bath soaking salts. The WiFi was fast and the staff members were fantastic. It was a close walk into town and close to everything you could want to explore in the Lakes District. Very cool how the hotel provides wellies (Hunter Boots) for guests...
