We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. Great water view from our room as well. Also the food at the hotel is outstanding we ate there twice and were blown away with the quality of our meals. The Barramundi was cooked to perfection "

"What a glorious spot amongst the vines, comfortable well equipped dome, shame the weather didn’t play along so we could use the outdoor fire. The included wine tasting is one of the best we have done, the wines are beautiful and it’s an unpretentious setting. recommend booking the food hamper. What a great idea to give a voucher to use towards the cost of breakfast at local cafes, we visited the Cabin in Exeter and in Moon Lilly in Beaconsfield, both lovely. "The moment we settled in, we felt like we were on holidays. Very clean, well presented accommodation with all the amenities we could want. The heating was on when we arrived which was appreciated because it was a cold, stormy kind of day. Electric blankets on each bed, if required. "Wonderful experience at Tranquilles. Friendly service from Bev from the moment I checked in and during my 2-day stay there. Comfortable bedding and clean room and facilities. Bev is an amazing hostess - she catered for the birthday function I attended at Tranquilles, serving delicious Thai food as well as the amazing birthday cake. There were great choices for breakfast and the jams/marmalade served were also home-made. Definitely recommend and would stay at Tranquilles on my next trip to Port...
