"So i suppose the price for a night isnt bad, but when youre expecting a whole apartment aslisted and there are others there, its not so great. Stood outside door for 20mins. Not easy to get key via access code( no email before) 2 towels for 3 people, 1 was damp, 1 had a brown 'stain' on it. Bedding old and worn. Headboards dubiously stained!!!!"

"Fantastic location for walking, getting to Bakewell and surrounding area. Cottage was well equipped, clean and welcoming.Rather tight around the table for 4 adults if you want to eat in. On description it said that it was one double and a king, we checked before we went and messaged owner to check it was made up as a king which she said she would do however it was just 2 singles pushed together with single duvets . Otherwise everything was really lovely. We had a great stay"

"I recently stayed at The Stay Company for nearly a month, and it was an excellent experience. The location was fantastic, very safe, with a park just steps away and convenience stores nearby. The communication with the hosts was always excellent, and they were supportive throughout my stay. The apartment was wonderful, and I had everything I needed. Overall, it's a fantastic place, and I look forward to returning soon!"

"good location, excellent easy parking in the free car park literally 50 yards away. close to town and nearby coffee shop and fish n chip shop. - all in all a good location for exploring the Peak District - everything is kind of 10 miles or 20 minutes way in nice country roads. "We had spotted this cottage on previous walks on visits to the area and wanted to try it. Very well appointed and comfortable cottage in a lovely area. We will definitely come again. One minor suggestion would be that property gets a larger frying pan as the one provided is quite small (or you could take one along with you!) "

"Thank you again for providing such a fantastic base for our holiday. Curlew Cottage was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite was a bonus. The location was stunning with a wonderful view to enjoy from the lovely garden. Betty the Cockapoo had a great time, getting to know the other animals, though I think she might have been disappointed that Jack, the sheep, wouldn't chase her. She enjoyed meeting them all. We definitely plan to return hopefully...

"What a lovely cottage. Very well furnished and equipped, in a lovely location. The cottage is even nicer than the photos suggest. However, if you ha e young children ( our grandchildren are ages 8, 5, 4 and 3), the neighbour is likely to complain. We received a message from the owner, with a complaint about the children running around and being noisy. Isn't that what children do when they are excited to be on holiday? The cottage does have floorboards which are quite noisy, but to expect them...

"Perfect location for walking, as on bus route to beauty spots from which you can walk back. Brilliant to have plenty of parking and an exceptionally large apartment, recently refurbished, with all amenities. Only downside was staff made a lot of noise under my room until 1am. Otherwise ideal with reasonably priced food and open fires at the pub downstairs. "

"The apartment was spacious and very comfortable in a beautiful and tranquil garden setting. Access to many walks from the property - no need to drive every day. Interesting market towns nearby and some National Trust properties an hour or so away. Youlgreave is in walking distance- 3 pubs serving food and some shops with local produce. "
