COVID escape

A small group organized a get away for a change of scenery during this difficult time. The house was perfect with plenty of space and tons of trails to hike. Great location.

Absolutely spectacular stay. House was even better in person than pictures showed. Check in process was very easy and Derrek was very kind and helpful throughout. Would love to come back.

Summer Weekend in the Catskills

We stayed at the Mountain House for a family reunion weekend. The home was perfect for entertaining and the owners were very helpful during the planning process and when we had questions during the weekend. We would highly recommend.

Great stay and amazing kitchen!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Mountain House 3 times this year and cooking in their wonderful chef kitchen. It’s the perfect place to host retreats, large groups and enjoy the gorgeous Catskills views. The house is clean, spacious and cozy. Would highly recommend!

Fabulous house for families!

We had a wonderful time at the Mountain House! So much room for two families and the kids loved the games room. The large dining room was perfect for Christmas dinner. Windham is gorgeous and only a few minutes away, definitely check out the Public House if you’re there. Thanks to Derrek and family for sharing their home.

One of a kind - perfect family/group retreat!

The Mountain House is incredible! Spacious home with stunning views and noticeable pride of ownership - the tour of the home just kept going! We did the special food and wine pairing and our taste buds couldn't have been happier - this is the real deal for a special getaway and we hope to be back soon. We also loved the fire pit, hot tub, beautiful surroundings, and working with the owner - he is awesome!

Great Short Stay

We had a great stay at the house. The pond was fun and the pebbly beach/shallow walk in area made it more fun for the babies and toddlers than a regular pool would've been. Kitchen was well stocked, and lots of bedrooms and hang out areas. Derrick was a perfect host - always super responsive and helpful with any questions. Would happily stay again!

Great House for Groups!

Stayed at The Mountain House for a 2nd consecutive season & I will definitely be going back for years to come. Easy drive from NYC, close to the mountain & perfect location to getaway with a nice groups of friends/ family. The house has everything you need, great kitchen, jacuzzi, tons of beds, flat-screen TV's etc.. Highly recommend.

My group and I had a wonderful stay at the mountain house. Even when there was a small issue with the water, Derrek made sure to send the plumber out ASAP to fix the issue!

Wonderful stay organized by an excellent host team!

Our stay at the Mountain House was excellent. Our check-in process and stay was above expectation. The hosts were incredibly responsive and solved a couple of small issues for us very timely. We have already discussed renting the house again in the winter to take advantage of all of the season's amenities and ski resort proximity.

Perfect House for a Big Group

We absolutely loved our stay at this Property. We had ~20 people and did not feel crowded at all. Everyone had beds and the house was built for groups of this size! Also tucked away with minimal neighbors and a huge backyard. 10/10 will be back!

worked well for our family

My extended family and I wanted a place to get away from the city during the COVID crisis and this place worked well for us. There was lots of inside and outside space.

The perfect house for a multi generational family

The mountain house was the perfect place for our family of 5 siblings, spouses, and 9 grandchildren to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. The house was more than spacious and gave each family enough sleeping and bathroom space. We spent a lovely day in Hudson while the men golfed, and the youngest grandkids loved the indoor hot tub!! We would definitely go back!

The Perfect Retreat

The house is fantastic for a group getaway! Derrek is incredibly responsive and a perfect host. Arranged all meals for our group and was sure to have the house stocked with everything needed. An A+ rental which I would highly recommend!!!

Great Ski House

We did a family ski trip with ~20 family members of all ages. The place is beautiful, the layout is awesome, and the location can't be beat if you're trying to ski Windham (8 minute drive to the mountain). The décor is roosters - the kids had fun trying to count them all! Highly recommend.

The Perfect "Team" Location!

We had a GREAT 'Team" Weekend at this modern country retreat. The house comfortably accommodated our 22 members and the surrounding property is both private and beautiful. The property managers were also responsive and clear at all times. We would recommend the property for group events - especially for outdoor activites - hiking, skiing, skating, etc. Oh, sledding too! It was a great weekend!
