We have received another review from yourself on another page and we have replied to your feedback at length. We pride ourselves on the high levels of service and quality that we offer our guests and it is never our intention for guests to leave feeling disappointed. Testament to this is the consistently excellent feedback we receive about our service and the friendliness of our team. However, we do believe some of the issues you have described as being an indicator of poor customer service to be unfair. Unfortunately it is not possible to check in to the room at 10am before the guests from the night before have left. We also reached out on three occasions to strongly recommended booking our restaurant. Unfortunately, when you walked in to the restaurant at 7pm on the bank holiday Saturday without a reservation we were already fully booked, and the offered table at 8.30pm was not an acceptable solution. Once again we would like to extend our apologies that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion and we wish you well.

We have also noted your comments regarding the showers; - Langdale Chase in closing next year for an extensive refurbishment which will see the complete renovation of the Hotel and public areas, including the replacement of the plumbing system. In the mean time, should you wish to return we would recommend our Lake House, which is a newer building within our grounds approximately 70 metres from the main Hotel. The rooms are en-suite with a rolltop bath and separate rain shower and do have lovely lake views with patio doors leading onto an outdoor terrace or balcony.
