Lovely accommodation in a great location

Ideal place for 2 couples. The accommodation has been recently renovated to a high standard. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was plentiful parking. We really enjoyed spending a night on the decking with views of Windermere. The key safe made it easy to check in & out.

Lakes away

Beautiful cottage excellently equipped more kitchen appliances that at home. Lovely views from the garden of Windermere lake.very central for where we wanted to go,will stay here again and bring friends

Excellent place to stay, very quite and very clean Only issue we had was that the downstairs bedroom was cold, and if we turned up the heating in the living room, the living room and upstairs bedroom we to hot. Maybe could also give people a better idea where the key safe is for number 10. We were a long time trying to find it, was going to phone the office when one of our group found it. These are not complaints, just observation for improvement in this beautiful cottage. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a wonderful stay at Woodside (finally after our original trip was cancelled!).

We had a wonderful stay at Woodside (finally after our original trip was cancelled!). The pictures don’t do it justice. The only issues we experienced were the downstairs bedroom being rather chilly compared to the rest of the house which is not good at night, and the upstairs shower went from very hot to cold rather often. Is these were sorted the place would be perfect! Thank you for a great stay and we would definitely consider coming again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Amazing week spent in the most beautiful landscape. Cottage was perfect and had an amazing view to relax with on the decking. Would definitely recommend Woodside Cottage and will use again.

Excellent location and well supplied cottage. Only negatives are that the towel rails didn't work and there was nowhere to hang towels to dry them. As expected lots of walks to do; including some straight from the cottage

Very good but none of the three extract fans was working - the motors were turning but not the fan b

Very good but none of the three extract fans was working - the motors were turning but not the fan blades. In addition, the right hand cupboard door to the right hand cupboard in the second floor bedroom is wearing out the new carpet for want of the bottom edge being adjusted by a carpenter.

A lovely cottage equipped with everything you might need, including books and games.

A lovely cottage equipped with everything you might need, including books and games. It does have lots of stairs, but the stairways are wide with bannisters on both sides. Lovely decking area at the back with views over the roof towards the lake. Plenty of parking too.
