Everything you've ever wanted in a rental and more.

Our family fell in love with this gorgeous little getaway. We traveled from Alvin texas to wimberley, from the moment we checked in i knew we were in for a treat. This property had everything we needed from a hot tub to toys for our children to play with plenty of places for them to move around. The room located up the spiral staircase was my 7 year old autistic daughter's favorite hideaway. It made her dreams come true while giving her privacy. Legos were her favorite along with the view of the livingroom and the skylight. Our 16 month old son enjoyed all the dinosaur toys and live plants. Our bedroom was named "The Sweet" had a very comfortable bed with a clawfoot tub in the bedroom giving the best romantic cabin vibes. Another great plus about this property is the wonderful owners Judy and Wink have other rentals on the property and a new one opening next month. Great plus for families that are traveling together. We loved "Inn the woods" cant wait to try "Snuggle Inn Wimberley" and "Horse Theif Inn" and see y'alls lastest! Highly recommend!! Thanks for having us!

Awesome Cabin!

“Inn the Woods” was perfect for our family’s winter hill country getaway and I’d highly recommend it to future guests. The host was communicative and very helpful and the cabin met all our expectations and then some. The beds were all super comfy, the hot tub was hot and clean and the fenced backyard was the perfect play area for our young kids and dog. There were a bunch of kid’s toys out back, a see-saw, firepit, cornhole and swings that kept everybody plenty busy. The location was great too; a short 10-minute drive into Wimberley for groceries, dining and shopping. The cabin was just close enough for convenience but a comfortable distance from the (relative) hustle and bustle. Highly rec’d!

All around great place!

Our stay at "Inn the Woods" was a terrific experience! Judy and Wink's was the perfect place for our trip to the Texas Hill Country. Lovely home with some really fun and unique accents throughout the place. They addressed any issues we had immediately. Great location for a home base as there was so much to see in the area. Would for sure stay here again and again! Thank you!

Beautiful cabin and peaceful location!

Loved the location of cabin, not too close to city and only a short drive to downtown Wimberley and stores. Host were also great and were quick to respond to our questions. Cabin was beautiful with lots of games/toys available for us to use. The hot tub was an added perk and is nicely tucked in backyard for privacy. Highly recommend!!!!!

Perfect Log Cabin Getaway

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for and had everything we needed. It was close to downtown Wimberley, Fredericksburg and Lake Travis. The hosts were so kind and had everything prepared for our visit.

Warm and Cozy

Perfect place for a getaway with my family. It was cold and rainy while we were there but the cabin was so warm and cozy. It was perfect. We didn’t need to go out coz there’s lots of things to keep us entertained in the cabin. Played board games, cooked food, there’s plenty toys for the young ones. The kitchen had all the utensils and spices that we need. They don’t provide paper towels tho, just washable kitchen towels. Host was very kind, welcoming, and prompt with communication. I highly recommend this cabin!

Cozy Cabin

We were in the area for a family wedding, and Inn the Woods was perfect for us. It was a VERY rainy weekend, so we didn't get to use the hot tub or firepit, but we used the fireplace inside. The property is cozy, comfy, and had everything we needed. The owners are environmentally conscious, too, which is a bonus in our eyes.

Perfect family getaway

The cabin and property were perfect. The seasonal decor was such a pleasant addition to the cozy atmosphere. All amenities were utilized and appreciated, from the fireplace and fire pit to the hot tub and claw foot tubs. It was a perfect weekend getaway!

Wonderful getaway!

We absolutely enjoyed our time here. It was exactly as pictured, but was even better than expected. Thoughtfully decorated and maintained, so cozy and comfortable. We loved relaxing and spending time together outside and quiet nights inside by the fireplace. The owners were so incredibly kind and helpful. We cannot wait to return!!

Back yard needs work, so hot more than one fan would of been much nicer. We really enjoyed ourselves, brought way too much stuff due to kitchen & bathrooms were well stocked.

Good day overall

Overall everything was very nice the only down part was although it was a Friday and Saturday night we had to be quiet from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. we could barely enjoy our barbecue outside also there was a burn ban so we could not enjoy the fire pit literally at 10:20 we were told to be quiet. Everything else was great we were just under the impression that we were secluded in the woods and would not have to worry about a group of adults being quiet as of 10 p.m.

Amazing Stay! Couldn't have been more perfect!!

We planned a ladies trip and booked "Inn the Woods". This property couldn't have been more perfect. The location was excellent - only a few miles from Wimberley. Ample parking. The house was adorable. Very nicely furnished; felt so cozy inside. Beds were SO comfortable with the softest sheets. This house was the CLEANEST house I've EVER rented. All of us made comments about it. Nice big back porch with chairs where we had our coffee every morning overlooking the woods. Great fire pit with wood provided. Nice grill. Awesome hot tub nook with festive string lights. Huge beautiful trees in the back yard. Hammock to relax. The house was very nicely equipped with everything you need. We all loved the stay so much and we are already talking about when we will all book another trip at this property in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The owners were quick to respond and answer any questions. The cabin was big enough for our group and had everything we needed. One thing to note is that the owners do live in the house almost behind the property.
