Wonderful!
Cozy log home in a nice location convenient to Whiteface and hiking trails! We enjoyed walking down to the river along the property staircase to see the nice view. We would love to stay here again!

Classic rustic cabin design
Cabin design reminded me of a family cabin from 60 years ago. Many rustic interior design elements that added to the feel. Great location for fishing, golfing, hiking and relaxing. Owner was very responsive. Great spot for fly fishing. Would like to return.

Perfect!
This house and our stay was fantastic. We came and stayed for our wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house is nicely Decorated and tucked back in the trees on a beautiful property. After our wedding we enjoyed taking our own pictures at the end of the day down by the water and up on the balcony with gorgeous views. 10/10 everything was great and we highly recommend!

Unbeatable views!
This cabin is exactly as advertised with amazing views from the balcony and deck and the furnishings complete the anesthetic perfectly. The owner is very responsive and check-in and out was seamless. The steps down to the river are very sturdy but might be hard for old or very young guests. At first arrival i was concerned it wouldn't be as remote as I had thought but despite being near other houses you feel completely remote in the back yard and have complete privacy. We'll be back!

Absolutely perfect
I have been a long time user of VRBO and this location was perfect for near by points of interest and property was above and beyond what we expected. Cabin was clean and set up to accommodate every type of visitor to fine detail and the views are extraordinary. Communication was great and property has easy access and parking. I have stayed in several cabins via VRBO and I have to say that this was the best by far and exceeded in every category. Would definitely recommend and if we are ever in the area again would do this location again.

Perfect Scenic getaway
My family and I had a great experience staying here for a week. Johnathan was very accommodating to ensure that my whole family+pets were able to stay comfortably. The best part of this property would have to be the mountain views and the river at the back of the property. Would love to stay again in the future.

This property was just as advertised. Amazing views, cozy cabin and just secluded enough to give a proper sense of privacy but close enough to shops that you don’t feel out of place and there are things to keep you occupied. Would recommend it to 10/10

Adirondack Beauty
Wow! This place was beautiful!!! I'll start by saying, Johnathan - the owner, was awesome to deal with. He was quick to respond with any questions we had. We had no issues while staying at this cabin so, in terms of emergency or any emergent issues, we didn't have to contact anyone which is terrific! On a side note, Johnathan's photography is throughout the cabin. It's beautiful and gives this cabin a personal touch! The cabin itself was so clean and very well kept and so comfortable. And that view...OH MY!!!! The balcony off the main bedroom upstairs was our favorite spot (ours and our pup's). We were even able to sit on the balcony while it rained as there is a little overhang that gives it just the right amount of coverage in a downpour. This cabin is well appointed with anything you could possibly need. The steps to the river were a little steep so we didn't go down but a few times. That's alright though because you can hear the river from the cabin. It is so quiet and you hear no road noise, at all, even though you are close to town. And convenience, it couldn't be beat. We were within 2 minutes to terrific food (the pizza place in town was SO good). And we were within 20 minutes of Lake Placid. There's Whiteface Mountain up the road and within minutes or SO many amazing hikes. This cabin was amazing!!! We are so happy we chose to stay here and Johnathan rented his amazing cabin to us! We would love to stay here again at some point!!!

The cabin was great! The owner Jon was very quick to answer messages and the cabin was very clean and organized. We loved going down by the river to read. The owners even gave us wine for our honey moon! Would recommend anyone to stay!

This is such a beautiful home in the most peaceful setting, a true oasis. My favorite feature is the upper deck, such a beautiful view of the stars at night and view of the mountains, right from amongst the trees. Inspiring and peaceful, would definitely stay again!

The perfect girl's getaway!
I cannot even begin to express how truly amazing this past week was, starting with this beautiful and meticulously cleaned home. The owner Johnathan was informative, polite, very responsive and just overall a complete perfect host and gentleman. Any questions my friend or I had were answered and in s timely fashion. This cabin is remarkable! Location is just enough privacy without feeling alone and it is so well stocked you truly could just show up for your stay! Lori does an AMAZING job with sanitizing and cleaning the home... we cannot wait to book again for next year!

A perfect getaway
This was the perfect little getaway for my family. The location - 15 minutes from the top of Whiteface, and 15 minutes from downtown Lake Placid - was perfect. Being able to hear the Ausable River from the balconies was a delight, and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of every morning. The house was clean, spacious, and well laid out, and Jonathan was an excellent communicator. We would definitely (and hopefully will) stay here again.

Unplug and unwind
This cabin is a slice of ADK heaven. The pictures on VRBO are no exaggeration of the beauty and calm you will find during your stay here. Jonathan makes the whole process easy and with clear communication. Lori (property keeper) had the house spotless and even put our HelloFresh foods in the refrigerator for us so it did not spoil. I had everything I needed to cook (cutting boards, measuring cups, citrus zester). My husband enjoyed meeting the local fly fisherman a short walk down the road from the house and also hooked a trout on the river below the property (despite the water level being low). Don’t hesitate to click reserve on this house. It is truly worth every penny.

Amazing house and views
Everything went smoothly! The place is supplied with all the comforts of home and was very clean. Location was perfect for the activities we planned. On days when the weather didn’t cooperate we enjoyed relaxing in the home. Sunsets were beautiful to watch on the decks. The owner was easy to contact, check in was easy. Beautiful Views, Fresh Air, & Homey Vibe
I loved our stay at Jonathans cabin. The views were stunning from the deck, bedroom & balcony. You can see white face mountain to your left, and yet you can hear the river below you. It was in a great location to get to several trails and tour the high peak region. The beds are comfortable, Jonathans photos throughout the house were gorgeous, and he was a great a host that was quick to respond. The home felt so comfortable & the fresh air was serenity, it is the definition of relaxation. Exactly what we needed after several hikes. Cannot wait to go back!

Memorial day weekend getaway
Wonderful property with something for everyone to enjoy - no need to even leave the home (though we did do some exploring)! If you fly fish definitely get down to the river, just make sure you have cleated soles. My wife loved the attention to detail of the home and the host was quick to respond and friendly.

Very cozy and relaxing
Wilmington Range Chalet is amazingly beautiful. Looks clean and smells clean. A place to relax and unwind. We’ve seen the spring and wintry scene of the place both beautiful. John is an amazing host. Easy to contact. Though we did not get to see around the area because of the snow storm we get to enjoy the house during the storm. This place is a highly recommended hope to see the summer side of this place.Hope to be back soon. Me and my family really enjoyed this place. Kudos to Ms.Lori for keeping the house clean also she’s very sweet. Again, Thank you for having us.

The property was very clean and organized and had everything we needed. The view off the back deck is amazing looking down on the river with chairs on a deck just feet from the river. The location was close to hiking as well a short drive to Lake Placid.

This house is a perfect homebase for an active week in the Adirondacks!
This house is a perfect homebase for an active week in the Adirondacks! We were there to ski at Whiteface, and this house was a perfect place to come back to each evening. The house is beautifully situated and a very short drive to the mountain and many other area activities. The house was very clean and comfortable and the view from the decks and sound of the river below would be hard to beat. Johnathan, the owner of the house, was always responsive, friendly and accommodating. 5 stars across the board!

Fantastic peaceful haven
We brought our 3 boys here for a covid-safe pre-Christmas snowy getaway- the house and land were just what we needed. The Adirondack details in the house were impressive and it was such a cozy place to stay. It was a joy to walk in and see a live Christmas tree. The mountain view was breath taking and my sons are asking when they can come back again! Thank you so much!

Great cabin and very convenient location
- The cabin was well appointed and clean. - The owner was responsive and helpful. - Check in was straightforward and well informed. - All of the home amenities worked properly and the beds were comfortable - The cabin was nice and close to town but the property was pushed back from the road so was still private - The views out the back of the cabin were amazing.

Tranquil Getaway
This house has everything you could possibly need for a nice relaxing weekend away. The views from the upstairs balcony are absolutely stunning, and we took frequent trips to the stream to just listen to the water. The house is in close proximity to downtown lake placid and any and all hiking trails in the area. The house was well stocked with all necessities and kitchen items you could need. My husband and I will definitely be making another trip up to this house!!

Wonderful stay in Adirondacks
Amazing house on the river in Wilmington. We stayed four nights- gorgeous inside of the house, great deck where you can hear the River. Access to the river at the property and other nearby locations. Plenty of hiking options nearby too. Would definitely recommend to others!

Definitely a home built with pride of place...the style, the quality, the location all reflect the beauty of the High Peaks. We spent the entire week within a ten-mile radius, including one day at "home". Very special!

Perfect Stay
We had a wonderful time! Super clean and comfortable. Beautiful Mountain View. The location was perfect. It felt secluded but was close enough to everything we wanted to do. Definitely a special place!
