Our stay at this house was full of beautiful views from the deck, a clean kitchen and supplies for cooking, a wonderful fire pit. It was the perfect location to local Wilmington Town Beach area where we took our dogs everyday. Great central location to several hikes in the Whiteface and Lake Placid region. Over all a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to return

We had a terrific stay with our family. Can’t say enough good things about the property. The house met all our expectations and more. The owners were very attentive and prompt if we had a question. If our travels ever bring us back to the area we would definitely stay again. A 10/10 rating just doesn’t seem high enough.

Amazing home and property that had everything you could imagine! Owners were very friendly and great at responding to any questions we had! This is by far the best VRBO rental we have had. They had everything you could imagine plus extra! Kitchen fully stocked with every appliance, cookware, and place settings that you would need. I was even surprised by what I did find for availability! More than enough towels to use. The home is amazingly beautiful as well as the property. We wish we had made use of the firepit, but we ran out of time. The location is quiet and views are spectacular. It is nice to sit on the balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee and just listen to nature. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evening after each day exploring. I will definitely consider booking this again!

Anniversary getaway

Gorgeous view and relaxing

Communication with the homeowner was wonderful. If we had a question it was promptly responded to. The house is wonderful, the view from the 2nd story porch of whiteface mountain is great. It is a short walk into town and there are a number of wonderful hiking trails.

Great house and location

This house is located very close to whiteface. We stayed here for our hike of whiteface and Esther and couldn’t have asked for a better location. We already talked about staying here again in the winter months to ski. The owners were very responsive and have set up the house beautifully. There were many small details such as the labels inside the home, and the provided crib that simplified our stay and made it very enjoyable.

Beautiful stay at White Spruce Cottage!

My mom and I had a BEAUTIFUL stay at White Spruce Cottage. Perfect location in Wilmington to visit the local beach area with the dogs every morning and easy access to 86 and whiteface highway for all our favorite hikes and visits to Lake Placid. Clean, and everything we needed was easily accessible. Beautiful views from the balcony even on cloudy or rainy days!

Whiteface Ski Trip

We had an amazing stay. The house is only 5 minutes from Whiteface and 15 minutes from the town of Lake Placid. Everything in the house was clean and well maintained. Beautiful view of Whiteface Mountain. We will definitely be returning next year!

Great house for ski weekend

Great house for a ski weekend at Whiteface. Very close to the mountain, there’s a hot tub for after skiing, and the house is clean, warm, and beautifully decorated.
