Really did not enjoy...The place was not very clean. The shower drained slowly so we stood in a puddle while showering. Hook in the bathroom falling off the wall. The floor had sand/dirt on it. Bedroom door looked filthy or stained, hard to say. The bedroom door latch was rigged with a 1'X6" board in order to latch properly. Not even painted completely. King size bed in the bedroom took up most of the bedroom....made it difficult to get in and out of the bed without crawling over spouse. The large windows in the living room were dirty and smeared.Path to the back entry door was not lighted or well-marked. We weren't sure if we were going to the proper door/residence. We were arriving well after dark and this was an uncomfortable walk to an unknown residence. There was no clear path to the back entry door. We had to walk on a mud & sand path(??) to get to the back door. This was a real issue every time we returned to the VRBO.The photos make this residence look much better than it is by a long shot. Cannot recommend this VRBO!!

Place is a little on the small side, but it was so nice that it didn't matter. It was very private and pretty. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and we can't wait to go back again! We loved it!

Wilmington Trip

We enjoyed our one night stay in Wilmington at this cute little Bungalow!! They provided everything we needed to be comfortable and it was clean and very cozy! We were here to tour apartments in the area and it was nice to have a nice and reliant place to stay while we did!

Brief Getaway

This property was just as described. It was ideal for my husband and me ( plus our fur baby). We loved having access to a fenced in space for our pup to explore and the wonderful shade trees were an added bonus. The neighborhood was also quiet and felt very safe. It was great to have a comfortable space to stay during our visit to Wilmington. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful oasis

Stayed with my parents who are in their 90s to visit daughter who attends UNCW. It was the perfect place to retreat to after full days of exploring Wilmington and visiting UNCW. The cottage is tidy and the backyard is so inviting. Will definitely visit again.

Great Wilmington spot!

The bungalow was quiet and relaxing in a wonderful neighborhood. Great back deck and yard to relax. Easy 2 minute walk to the park. Place was clean and neat with the basic amenities to make the stay comfortable. Close to downtown.

Nice neighborhood

The house is in a quiet neighborhood a block away from a really nice park with a stream running through it. The streets are narrow and everyone parks on the street. The rental is on the backside of a house and is attached. When we arrived the house smelled really musty, we opened the windows the living area and it helped until we had to close them. The wall that separates the spaces is very thin. When we were in the bedroom, we could hear conversations easily and when the microwave was being used it sounded like it was in the bedroom with us. The yard is very nice but the wooden fence on the alley side of the yard was falling over and has big holes in it. We couldn't let our dog out alone because of the fence. Also the only pillows on the bed were bamboo memory foam or something like that and they were very thick and uncomfortable, we checked the closet for another type but that's all there was. We had to use the throw pillows from the couch . The couch in the living area is very comfortable and it was very relaxing sitting there and being able to look into the backyard with the windows open.The kitchen and bathroom are very nice. The kitchen appliance seemed new and there is a lot of light. The bathroom shower is very nice, has great water pressure and the provided soap smelled really good.

Great Location!

It was in a great location and felt very safe. The unit is clean and comfortable and has everything you would need. It was also dog friendly with a fenced in yard. The walls are quite thin and you might hear the neighbor (who is a loud talker) and I would bring my own pillows as the ones there were extremely firm. But that being said, I would absolutely stay here again!!
