  • Whether you’re on vacation or business, we'd like to extend a warm southern welcome! You'll feel like you're on vacation the moment you arrive at our large attached private studio with code entrance, bathroom with a small shower, king bed, bunk bed (single & double beds), and fold down couch. This is a centrally located (north Wilm) attached mother-in-law suite in a quiet, safe residential neighborhood 10 minutes from Wrightsville Beach, UNCW, downtown Wilmington, Mayfaire shopping center, movie studio and airport.

    Included are a mini-fridge, microwave, electric skillet, coffee maker and coffee bean grinder, wifi, and television with HBO Max and Hulu. We have a play kitchen for children and games for everyone.

    This studio is self-sufficient so access is to your suite only. There's a patio just outside next to all the beach equipment you will need.

    Please don't hesitate to let me know what you need. I'm never far if you need something I haven't thought of.

Everything was great. It was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Very nice room and everything was clean and organized. Also had additional beds for two more people. Would rebook in the future.

Our host was exceptional!! We arrived at 10:30PM and couldn't find out code to get in. April answered our call and was so great throughout out stay with any questions we had. It was a excellent experience!

Everything you might need and more.

Spent a wonderful 4 days 4 nights. April was wonderful and made sure to check in to make sure I had everything I needed. The space was comfortable, cozy, and was pretty much perfect.

It was everything I needed. Owner was very accommodating to my requests which helped make my trip logistically smooth. Plus the Bed was super comfortable and towels were really nice!

Mother’s Day weekend

My wife loved the suit April build. It’s amazing, spacious, clean and she has everything you need if you happen to forget something. It’s pet friendly and April is such a great host! I mean she thought of everything from beach toys, supplies, towels and toiletries. It was last minute for me with getting work off and the pricing was perfect. Thank you so much April and can’t wait to come back

Wonderful place for a short stay.

A tastefully decorated and comfortable place with all the amenities you could need for a short stay. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze and the host was always quick to respond with any questions I had. The space was very clean and the combination of the a/c unit and ceiling fan worked perfectly for keeping the space cool even on hot days. Almost anything you want to do is located within a 15-20 minute drive even during heavy traffic hours. The space is also very private and quiet, at no point in the stay did I feel like I was in someone elses house.

Excellent host!

April was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The suite was very tidy and check in process was very easy and smooth. She was very understanding when our dogs would get a little noisy. We appreciate how sweet she was and would highly recommend that anyone looking for a pet friendly VRBO to stay here.

Location was great. Communication was fine. Size of place fine, bed slept good. Shower was too small for a frown man. The place was very nasty or should I say an uncleaned unit. The air condition vents had so much dust in them that we could hardly breathe. And I think that was part of what made the place so dirty and dusty. Would be a great little place if it was thoroughly cleaned!

Exactly what we needed!

We came to the Wilmington area to attend a concert at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater and go to the beach a few times with the dog. This place was exactly as depicted in the photos, the host was very accommodating, and the location was perfect for where we wanted to go. The amount of space and the features of the room were accurately shown in the photos; a very large main bed as well as a bunk bed (which we didn't use), a small couch that served as a good place to sit down and change shoes, a coffee station full of all the needed items, and a dining table with four chairs. The bathroom is small but usable, and the closet contains a dresser and a minifridge. April let us know in advance about the local rules for taking dogs on the beach so I was able to plan ahead and knew which areas we'd be able to go; at Carolina beach, for example, dogs are not allowed until after 5pm during the season so we only went there on our first night and went instead to the state park for the other days. There were tons of very good local restaurants within 30 minutes in every direction!
