The house and its location are very nice. It’s comfortable and has an open floor plan which was great for large crowd. There were a few things to highlight / improve. First, you have to bring your own sheets due to sanitary reasons. This was inconvenient and unusual. Also, the house lists the incorrect amount of beds and the bed sizing per room. For example, it says the master is a King when it’s actually a queen bed. It also suggests one room has seven twin beds when it has four beds. This matters when you have to bring your own sheets. If that could be updated, it would be helpful to future guests.

We had a great time! The location is perfect. Very short walk to beautiful Carolina Beach. Lots of options for our large extended family. The kitchen is large and has everything you need. Two beautiful, spacious decks to enjoy. The whole house is clean and comfortable. It’s important to know there are no sheets or beach towels. This was a little challenging for us since we were flying from out of state. You’ll need to plan ahead. Lots of beach toys and a outdoor shower made trips to the beach even more fun. Highly recommend.

From start to finish our family lived our stay. Home is larger than it seems in pictures. Home was immaculately clean, the owner was very reaponsive when we had questions and even ordered our family pizza delivery on checkin night out of the blue. Neighbors were great. Street was ama@ingly quite for a tpurist town. Beach was amazing. Home has plenty of sand toys for the kids , 2 gas grills for cooking out, comfortable patio furniture to relax at night. The worst part about our stay was leaving! Love this house !!!

Hadn't been to Carolina Beach, so was not familiar with the layout. Picked this house as it appeared close to beach. Found that the beach nearest house was very shallow and we chose to walk about quarter of a mile to north to find the better beach area. Was disappointed that the beds described on Vrbo didn't match up with the actual sizes, which was problematic as we had to bring bedding with us (not supplied). Overall the house was workable and the time with family was great.

We stayed for our aniversary and loved everything about this. House was clean, street is quite, literally steps from the water. Huge house with plenty of space, nice bathrooms, close to everything so we decided to walk instead of drive. We will make this our yearlybtrip.

Had a great time neighbors were very friendly especially the gentleman across the street. Very short walk to beach! The home was perfect great floor plan even though we spent most of our time on the front porch! Make sure you bring linens and laundry detergent and extra towels if your a big group like us. I somehow missed that so a bit annoying nobody wants to travel with sheets pillow cases and towels etc other than that it was great!!!!

Cannon’s Place was perfect for our family. The house was clean and everything was as described. There was plenty of room for our family. We loved sitting on the porch and walking around the neighborhood. The walk to the beach was short and it was a very nice public access. We loved the backyard area. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a great time! Loved both the property and location. We had 9 in our group (5 adults, 4 kids) and there was plenty of room. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach which was not at all crowded despite peak season. Property was clean and manager very responsive. Would stay here again 👍🏽

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and looked exactly as shown. We had plenty of room and the neighbors were friendly. Just a short walk to the beach and short drive to the boardwalk. Very nice place

The owner of this property decided to take a vacation and not leave ANY information regarding accessing the property. I called repeatedly, left messages on VRBO over several days and never heard from the owner. VRBO didn't know how to handle this as they couldn't reach the owner either. No instructions regarding entry were provided. Repeated requests throughout the week for the owner to call were ignored. Owner finally let me know he and his family were on vacation and without phone service. Also, a cargo lift was advertised as being available for use, it was locked up and unavailable until later in the week. Not any help with the unloading process! Owner made me agree to all kinds of conditions before he texted me the lock combinations. Seems like he would respond to the items he wanted to and ignored the rest. The house is great. Owner indicated he was new to VRBO and didn't understand the process with VRBO. Pretty poor excuse if you signed up and were told what was required of you as an owner and manager of your property before you made it available. Like I said, great house, but you are on your own for any communication with the owner.

Great vacation, loved the neighbors! Be warned, elevator is listed in property description but strictly prohibited and locked. Downstairs toilet was broken, had to flush by hand. Notified our contact on Tuesday, never heard back. Overall a fantastic vacation, loved the location, and had an excellent week!

The house was perfect for our family and 2 dogs. It is very dog friendly, with nice fenced backyard area and gated front and back porches for them to play on. Stocked well with beach chairs. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Our family has stayed at Carolina Beach in the past and this trip was short notice. Paul's property was better than we expected. We where surprised how close to the beach it was (3 min walk), clean and well taken care of. Paul responded to texts right away and was available for phone calls if needed. The permanent residents were very friendly and fun to talk to. Overall we where very pleased and will reach out to rent this property again.

The disappointing start was due to the unclean property, with dog hair on couches, smelly bedsheets, overflowing trash receptacles. Since we had committed, we had to do a cleaning of the entire home ourselves, and that's not something you like after paying a hefty Cleaning fees.

We loved this property! The house was perfect and provided us a great place to stay on our vacation. It was a close easy walk to the beach and had everything we needed. We are already talking about booking it again!
