Great location! Communication with owner was fabulous! Plenty of room for everyone and no sound issues with the other renters. The extra beach chairs were a huge help also. House was clean but could use a deep clean under the couches and other areas. Would definitely star again!

Great Stay

It was a great stay. There were 13 of us and had plenty of room. The beach being right across the street was a huge plus! If you are craving ice cream there’s a spot about 1/2 mile walk.

Nice place with easy access to the beach

We have stayed a weekend with a couple of friends and the place was awesome. You could walk to the beach in 5 mins and there were restaurants in the walking distance. The owner David was so nice and even gave us a 2hr late checkout when asked. I wouldn't hesitate to book the same place again!

Property was great! Check in was super easy. But, the ocean view is covered now that two new houses have been built, so you can kind of see it. But other than that it’s a nice house, close walk to the beach.

Bring Towels - Bath, Kitchen, Paper

This property has potential unmet. It’s in a great place and can house several people at once, BUT… I have NEVER stayed at a vacation rental that had one towel per person for the entire stay. Our toilet overflowed so you can imagine how bad that was with limited towels. Zero towels and paper towels in the kitchen. Doing the dishes was challenging. The thermostat was glued so that it could not be adjusted. Upper floor was extremely warm while the bottom floor was a meat locker. The freezer didn’t freeze completely. Pretty much all the adults staying here were disappointed.

Mixed bag

The house is exactly as described in the listing - across the street from the beach, bedrooms/baths/kitchen all as described. Not quite as clear is that it is two units, and the other half is also rented out. This was not a problem for us, as the other group was very respectful and "good neighbors." Max of 4 cars for our side, although they used a floating number between 4-6 on their side. The bad: no soap in showers, which was not clear (or maybe I just missed it). I've done dozens and dozens of VRBOs, and that was a first for us. Much, much worse: the water - out of every faucet, sink, shower, toilet - smelled of rotten eggs. It was bad enough that we would not use the water to make coffee, and most of us skipped showering altogether. Would we stay there again? Only if the water issue is corrected. If so, likely we would. It is convenient to Wilmington, easy beach access, etc. Plenty of space for our large family. But unless the water is addressed, we would not stay there again.

Relax

House was great, proximity to the ocean was great. The only issue was hot water came out brown and smelled like sewer. We ran it for a bit thinking it was stale in the water heater and that resolved it.

Excellent views and easy beach access!

This house was well furnished with comfortable beds and equipped with basic supplies which was super convenient. The short walk across the road to the beach was perfect and you could sit on the porch and watch the waves from the house. We really enjoyed our vacation here!

Vacation

My initial process was extremely simple. For the price I paid for this property the house wasn’t very clean when we arrived. The coffee maker still had old grounds and filter in it and the pot wasn’t clean. After I cleaned everything the coffee was never hot, luck warm at best. Again for the price of this property, spending $50 for a small Kerrigan is recommended. I get it, the price is for location but someone needs to put some money back into this property for it to be nice. My thoughts. I will not stay here again.

Irritating

1 towel per person. Seriously?? Notes from owner through VRBO and on property were rude and condescending. Some of the glasses were filthy. This is what happens when you leave it to your guests to wash and put away their dishes. Top floor guest bathroom Shower drains really slowly. The whole experience just didn’t feel very welcoming.

Great Spot

It was a very nice location and property. Easy to access beach and the boardwalk. Property was clean and had all the amenities you need. Fit 12 of us no problem. Definitely recommend!
