Perfect spot to visit with my mom. One floor, incredibly clean and comfortable, and one of the most nicely stocked kitchens I've ever seen in a rental house. Our oldest son is in college in Wilmington, and I like to spoil him by cooking a few meals when I'm in town. It was a breeze in this kitchen! I had everything I needed. Communication with owner was fast and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

This property was so perfect for our weekend stay in Wilmington! We made use of the grill, the firepit, and the kayaks, and 10/10 would recommend all of those things! The location was a bit far from downtown, but very centrally located to explore the greater Cape Fear area. Awesome space and amenities for the price.

Very nice and clean property. We loved everything about it and would definitely stay here again. There were only two things that surprised us. First, there was no coffee in the house, we had to go get our own Kcups for the Kurig which needed to be cleaned thoroughly, it had old brown water sitting in the reservoir. This surprised us because every place we’ve ever stayed has always had coffee available. Second, we ran out of Kleenex. There were only a couple left in the box when we arrived. Otherwise the place is perfect.

Will definatly be back

Beautiful house within 15 mins of wilmington and carolina beach, we were expecting something much smaller for the price but it turned out to be an excellent value with a fenced in back yard for the pups, has many different restaurants within walking distance

Nice place

We had a nice stay. House is nice in a nice neighborhood. As described. It would have been nice to have a starter coffee for us. Some issues: no WiFi the entire time. Communication was non existent from owners. We asked questions, got no reply. Checkout was at 10am. Maids showed up at 9:30am.

Avoid at all cost

We stayed at this property over Thanksgiving. We do not recommend this place: The couch has a strong odor, as well as the blankets provided to cover the couch. We had to go out and buy our own towels since the towels provided are so dirty they are gray (supposed to be white). We also saw that there is no difference between the bath towels and the dog towels so if you stay here definitely bring your own. The grass in the front and back yard is also very long and has not been mowed in sometime so makes it impossible for kids to play outside. We had an uneventful stay and end up leaving a day early. After our departure, the owners attempted to tell us that the highchair had a tear in it, and it was our responsibility. This like many fixtures in the house was very old, and it felt like they were attempting to get us to pay for items we hardly touched , let alone damaged. Please be aware that when booking this property, there is high likelihood that they will attempt to get you to pay for an old item in the house, claiming damage to old outdated items. If you do stay here make sure to take pictures or video of the whole house before and prior to your departure! We have stayed at multiple rentals over the years and if we had really damaged something we wouldn't have a problem paying for it. But it is completely unfair to try to make us responsible for something we didn't damage.

Ironman triathlon stay

We came to Wilmington for a triathlon and found this place. Close to race but away from the traffic. Was a hidden gem!!! Found out, after talking to locals, that our location in Monkey Junction, is a favorite spot!!! Not only was location amazing but our hosts had fast communication with us when we needed it!

We loved being close enough to the beach for a quick drive and being in a quiet neighborhood for the night. Comfortable and clean stay. Even our infant and dogs loved it.

Too dirty for our tastes

Looked like months of hair in the house, especially in the bathrooms. Even after we cleaned it, it came back. It may have been in the AC too. One of the bunk beds had a food wrapper and pieces of leaves in it although it was made. Food near the back door with ants on it. Had to clean the coffee maker before using it. The kitchen sink was dirty. The mats in both showers have mildew on them. The shower curtain in the master bath is nasty. The rug in the living room has stains in it. The chairs on the porch are dirty. The cleaning fee we paid seems wasted.

My daughters wedding

My daughter got married in Wilmington the weekend of Ian. The owners worked with us during this special time. The house was even prettier than any of the pictures! The decor was beautiful and the house was super clean! Definitely great location as well! We would absolutely stay again if we go to Wilmington. We have stayed at many VRBO’s at different places and this place the owners were the friendliest and the house exceeded expectations! Highly recommend

Wonderful in Wilmington

Wonderful stay! House was in a nice, quiet neighborhood just off the main highway. It was convenient to be so close to Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. House was very clean, nicely decorated, and the host was quick to answer any questions. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed 7 days in Nov 2021 Pros: location - quiet neighborhood in central location to area beaches and river walk WiFi - one guest was able to work remotely during stay Amenities - house is adequately equipped and clean Owner responsiveness - 2 broken items repaired in 2 days Cons: When room configuration changes (twins to bunk) after initial contract, renters should be notified directly and immediately!! The bunk was inconvenient for adults.

Comfortable small home

This property is very well furnished and decorated. Has all the necessities for a comfortable stay and even more. Loved the secure fenced in back yard for our two small dogs. I would recommend and would gladly stay here again.

Great Stay

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here! The house is beautiful and close to many restaurants and stores, this house has all the amenities you could ask for and more! We loved that our dog was able to come with us and she enjoyed the backyard and we loved that it was all fenced in!
