Dear Ellen,We looked forward to having you as our guest. We were disappointed you chose to book a pet-free room for yourself and your dog. Had you booked one of our two pup-friendly suites and paid the required nominal pet fee, we would have had a very different experience. Our host was as helpful as she could possibly be and did not deserve to be called names upon your arrival or when you chose to return to further raise your voice. It was unkind as she was simply following the rules for your reservation.Potential future guests should know we welcome your pup in The Romantic as well as The Dreamer Suite and there is a very modest fee. Hi Michele,Congratulations. We enjoyed having you as our guest. Thank you for taking the time to share a review. I understand we all run a little behind schedule sometimes. Your arrival was almost two hours later than the check-in time you scheduled. Sorry this made your evening plans begin later than you wished.You chose to make two separate bookings in two different rooms, but we were very happy to allow you to stay in the same upgraded room on both nights. This way you would not need to check-out and move rooms to begin your second booking. You only stayed with us for two nights so you received a check-out message on the day you were meant to check-out of the first room you booked. I’m glad you had a nice, relaxing stay. Good luck with your burger truck. We will keep an eye out for it.

Booking a stay in a three story Queen Ann Victorian with soaking tubs and strict historic society guidelines may not be the most practical decision for everybody. Although we have guests with a wide range of ages, some folks are less comfortable with steps than others and should take notice of the photos which show these details. Thank you again for shining a light on the fact that a home built in 1889 does not have some of the modern features you require. We welcome guests of all ages who seek a unique stay.
