"I had family in from the West Coast. I would recommend. Very well decorated and very cozy. Nice outside deck with plenty of seating and large yard! It was great to be able to have family over and visit. Communication was very good also! Thank you! "

"This is an extended stay. The hallways and elevator are filthy. The room had a terrible smell, although I think it was pretty clean--the smell coming from the air conditioner was a mix of what seemed like cigs and pooh.
The front desk staff was so nice that I did not complain. I only stayed one night, however, as my daughter was moving into a property in Chicago, our reason for travel, and she let me stay with her on what ould have been my second night. I just came back and got my stuff on...

The price was excellent for the location, and it was only about a 15–20 minute walk to the train, making it easy to get into the city. "Pros: Quiet neighborhood, felt safe going in and out of the house. Upstairs bathroom shower was amazing.
Cons: warmer in living room, stained pillows, couches and floors felt like dust mites all over( simple fix)

"This was our second stay at this property. We loved it and had a pleasant experience both times. The host was so kind and accommodating. They knew we traveled with children--on our first stay our children happily slept on the couches--so when we arrived the second time, there was a second bed set and ready for us. It is the kindest gesture that we've ever received at any b&b."
