"Fast check in, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. It's not the fanciest hotel in the world, but it isn't claiming to be. Good range of tea/coffee in the room, comfy bed, and easy to use air conditioning in the room. Walking distance to a small town centre with lots of food options, and literally next door to a petrol station if you just wanted a snack. Would definitely stay again."

"We arrived to a friendly greeting and given our key to room 17 on the first floor, the room was large and lovely and warm with a huge bed plus really clean. The hotel is very interesting with lots of different sitting rooms and a bar all filled with original Victorian features plus old cameras and typewriters were amongst the artefacts to look at. All the staff were really friendly and the chap on reception we spoke to on checking out told us all about the history of the hotel and even took time...

I was able to check in prior to the normal check in time and have a nice rest that afternoon. I was so grateful for that kind accommodation. "Absolutely amazing location, fabulous, reliable, transport links. Some beautiful areas within walking distance of the accommodation and the staff were just simply amazing. From the housekeeping to the management, nothing was ever too much trouble, even though they were extremely busy due to the location and it being the centre of the village, they still made a point of seeking you out, asking about your day and chatting as much as their schedules would allow.
