"This was the perfect place for a group of five overworked, overwhelmed, ladies who were also overdue for a getaway. The space was cozy with beautiful views. Secluded, peaceful, and away from the hustle. The details of reburbished, reclaimed wood mixed with modern yet comfortable furniture was a perfect setting to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We took several of the suggested places to visit and we were not disappointed. Don’t let the backroads or small size of this sweet treasure fool...

"This was a family trip to drop my son off at school. This was perfect! We had plenty of space for cooking, hanging out and sleeping. Access to the apartment was so simple. I had known reaching the owner was easy and they responded quickly based on messages before our stay so it was great to know if we had needed anything they would respond quickly (we did not need anything during our stay). Our stay was so smooth and relaxing. Lots of great walking trails nearby! Will book again!! "

"Our stay at Chateau Vigne was absolutely wonderful! The property made our trip!! Marilynn was so helpful and the communication was perfect. The chateau is beautifully appointed and our hosts did not forget a thing, from the most lovely linens, extra towels, and fresh coffee, to an array of toiletries in case we forgot something. "House is perfect for larger families or groups! Plenty of amenities and a great dock to fish off of. Pretty view, and very easy to access the property. Not too far from Danville, Roxboro or VIR. Since no house is perfect….the batteries in the remote for the TV need to be replaced. LOL. Other than that…house was perfect! Thank you! "

"Nice and peaceful location. We really enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. Loved the convenience of rinsing off in the outdoor shower as well. The house was well stocked. "This is our second stay at this location, but probably not our last! The house has a perfect lake front lot, allowing us to fish and kayak every day. The weather was wonderful, but even if it hadn't been, we were close enough to town to find things to do. We enjoyed the pool table and watching movies in the evenings."

"We were in Roxboro to visit a relative and stayed here.When we arrived, the unit was neat and clean. There are two twin beds in the living area, but it is very spacious and not crowded.
