The condo was in an easy to find and get to location. Our unit looked out on a wooded area with a view of East Bay through the trees. It was very quiet inside, inspite of being able to hear traffic when outside. We also loved being able to walk out back from the deck and over a wooden bridge to the beach area. We had a couple issues with the dryer, but management got back to me promptly and a repairman was sent out to fix it a couple days later. We have stayed in various locations around Traverse City area over the years and this was one of our favorites.

Could not turn on heat. Was told at 400pm when cking in that road work was being done at the place. Wanted us to tip the cleaning person when we were already paying a cleaning fee.

TC Stay

The condo was an average type place to stay. Everything in the condo did its job but you could tell it was a rental. It is functional but quite a ways from plushy. It is a good location for going into Traverse City or going further north up the coast.

Very quaint

Love the location and the quietness of the area. Having the lake so close was beautiful to see even though it's January. The place is very small and cozy. Keep in mind there is no oven, only 2 stove burners. The refrigerator is a small dorm size. Overall, the kitchen needs more. No strainer, only one hot pad. 1 dishtowel but no dishrags. The cleanliness is why I gave this 4 stars. There was a half eaten ice cream in the freezer, neither burners were cleaned, only covered. One of the dresser drawers was full of sand. Under the bed was a lot of dust, and even a piece of candy. things really need pulled out and cleaned well. Otherwise, it's a quaint area and rental. There was not a lot of traffic or people. I felt safe which was really important. I did communicate with the owner several times and that was always prompt and polite. I would stay again.

Where’s the property manager?

We needed towels, toilet paper and tge coffee pot was broken. The floor was so sandy. When we checked in the door was open. Unsettling for sure!

Maintenance

The property is very cute! The furnishings are very nice… very beachy and warm. Unfortunately the property was not cleaned well prior to our arrival… sandy and dirty floors, pans not clean. The kitchen faucet was very loose and cumbersome to use. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. We had to use the spin cycle of the dryer to wring it out after showers. Maintenance was requested but never came. The property would be so much cuter if all the glassware matched as well as the dishes. There was only small frying pan and one small pot. There was only one 4 square ice cube tray in the freezer. Nice Quisinart coffee pot though and countertop toaster oven.

Quiet, clean & relaxing

This condo was quiet, clean and very relaxing. It is just a short walk over the bridge to a nice beach and pool (unfortunately the pool was not opened but due to Covid). We would definitely return. There is no oven (who wants to bake on vacation anyways :), but there IS a cook top. We ate out so this was not a concern. Perfect for a beach getaway with lots of great restaurants and things to do close by. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation!

The condo was great! It was much smaller than we had expected though. The kitchen was very small and no room to cook as we have a family of 4 and there just wasn’t enough space. However, I was happy to relinquish cooking during my vacation 😎Also, make sure you bring some detergent, hand soap and dish soap or buy some when you get there because there wasn’t any. Our dish soap and hand soap were just about empty. Would have been nice to have full, fresh containers when we showed up. However, we made do because we rarely spent any time in the condo as we were having too much fun staying busy with all there is to do in Michigan!!! The location is A+. You are right on the beach. It feels almost private. You are able to rent paddle boards, jet skis, etc. right there. It is perfect. We will stay here again. Northern Michigan was seriously the best vacation. It’s a beautiful place and I can’t say enough about it!!!!

Perfect in every way

Really enjoyed our one night stay here. The condo was exactly as pictured; you literally walk across the bridge shown and you are at the bay. We took our chairs over and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. LOVED the decor inside the condo (clean and bright), it was cozy and the amenities were good quality. We had an issue of not being able to get in on time and the manager quickly took care of that for us. He also sent us a list ahead of time of good restaurants and activities to enjoy in the area. We would go back there in a heart beat. Great stay. Thanks!

Just ok

This condo is ok, nothing to rave about. We like to cook our own food, so the pans to use were not great. No lids, and one pans was rusty. It was a good enough place to stay as we were gone most of the 3 days we were there. We’ve stayed in much bigger condos for the same price. I think the draw was the closeness of the bay. We would probably choose a different place if we came to this area again. The check in was simple. When I gave a review to the property manager about some of the issues we had, they were nothing major, I only got a computer generated response. So I’m not sure if they even saw some of the issues. It was a decent place if you like to eat out all your meals and don’t mind that it was pretty small.

Nice, but could have been better

Our stay here was nice. We enjoyed how peaceful the setting was. Was disappointed that there weren’t any amenities such as soaps shampoo available. Had to ask There were lightbulbs also out. Poison ivy everywhere!!!

Cute and Cozy Condo!

I loved this rental! It was super clean and the bed was comfy. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an amazing bottle of sparkling wine on the kitchen table for us to enjoy. We will be back!
