"The house is so sweet and cozy, and it has everything you could possibly need for cooking! The beds were super comfortable, and I'm really glad we chose this place. We had a wonderful time and made some lovely memories together. One little suggestion – it would be nice to have a sign at the entrance because we all struggled to find it at first. Overall, a fantastic stay!"

"The space was well appointed and needed items such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and dishwasher tablets were all there. Family Fare grocery store is across the street for any foods items I needed. There was only one small ice tray, so buying bagged ice is required. Additional trays would have been nice. There is no outdoor space for sitting outside. Parking is very limited. A sign in the unit would be worthwhile to indicate where parking is allowed. Overall I enjoyed my stay."

"Our stay in Elk Rapids was wonderful, clean, and cozy! The location is perfect—easily within walking distance to town (under a mile) and right across the street from Bass Lake, where we loved playing cards by the water. The town is incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. We walked to the free Monday night movies, the Wednesday street vendor market, and the Friday morning farmers market. Short’s Brewing is only a half-mile walk for great beer and food trucks, and there are three beaches within a...

"The property was very clean and well supplied. However, the upper unit has very low and angled ceilings and it is not possible to get out of bed and stand up, for example. Although the unit is updated, it still feels dated. For over 500 per night this was very overpriced."

"We booked this property for three nights over the July 4th holiday and, regrettably, cannot recommend it.What concerned us most was the condition of the beds. All three were not clean upon arrival: a dried blood stain on one pillowcase, makeup stains on the linens, and dirt, sand, and hair, both short and long, across every bed. We did not notice until close to midnight on the first night, by which point we had no option but to sleep in them. A cleaning fee had been charged, yet the home had...
