Very nice spot, good location

Pro's: place was very clean, lots of beach equipment. Pool is in great shape. 2 kayak's included. Beds are very comfortableCon's: oven didnt qork at all. Contacted property manger with no resolution. Dishwasher was in somewhat poor shape.l but functionalOverall we really enjoyed our stay, just wish the appliances were in bettter shape.

Great location, property needs cleaned

Great location but spent hours cleaning upon arrival. There was literally pieces of grilled onion on the dishes in the cabinets. All the dishes were greasy. Yuck. Location was great but communication was lacking. Probably would t book again.

Incredible location

I stayed at Silver Palms with my wife, 14 month old and mother in law. It was as described and in an incredible location next to the beach and in a very quiet and private part of the island. We took the advantage of the chef service and the food was unbelievably great. Nancy and Judy were incredible throughout our stay

Amazing stay in Little Exuma!

Our stay at Silver Palms Retreat was perfect! The house was very clean and well stocked and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the pool and the beach is a 2 min walk away. We can’t wait to come back again!

Fantastic property/great stay!

Silver Palms Retreat was a wonderful place - great location, steps from Tropic of Cancer beach. The house was 100% as advertised and the couple of times we had hiccups (once with wifi, once with a chair that I broke by accident), the team was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helped us solve ASAP. The only con, which is nothing that anyone can solve, is the no-see-ums are awful. Strongly recommend stockpiling Benadryl and bug spray with Picaridin if you are allergic, as I apparently am. My husband also got many bites but wasn't nearly as itchy as me. But to restate - this is an issue in the islands (and Southern US) - NOT anything to do with the rental. Highly recommend! We'll be back for another relaxing vacation!

Great property and seamless check-in

We loved our stay at Silver Palms. The property was super clean, check-in was very straightforward, and the property was well stocked and had a large supply of purified water. The beach is very close, as others have mentioned, and we really appreciated the kayaks and life vests. Would definitely stay again!

Great vacation home!

We loved our close proximity to Tropic of Cancer Beach from this beautiful, clean and well stocked home. The quiet location and spacious deck with the pool added so much to this visit. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and all of the bedrooms and baths. The snorkel gear along with the lifejackets were very much appreciated. Super prompt response from the local property manager when asked a question as well. We absolutely loved this home!

Fabulous vacation home!

Silver Palms Retreat is a gem of a vacation home! It was extremely well equipped, wonderful decor, a great pool and great location steps to the beach! We would recommend it to any small group! Owners are wonderful with many recommendations! Thanks for a great stay 😀

Our stay at Silver Palms Retreat

The property was beautiful and located just a short walk to Tropic of Cancer Beach. We really enjoyed the pool and the privacy of that area. They had so many amenities which made it easy to cook at the house. The beds were also very comfy cozy and it was quiet around the house at night so we slept like babies. Wonderful stay! Would highly recommend.

A very special part of the world

This is a beautiful, well maintained, terrifically appointed property that is a one minute walk from the most beautiful beach we have ever visited. Mark and Debbie are incredibly responsive and helpful, as was Judy, the property manager. The house has everything you could want, including a kitchen stocked with everything you could want for cooking and baking, very comfortable beds, ample towels, beach supplies, great outdoor space, and a fantastic heated pool. But as great as the house is, the location is even better. Tropic of Cancer beach is a special spot - soft white sand, almost no seaweed, and calm, unbelievably turquoise water. We had a tremendous time, and we were all sad to leave! Other folks have noted that the road to the house from the main road on the island is a little like a moonscape, and they were right - but if you take it slow it’s not too bad. We would recommend arriving to the house in daylight, though, as it can be hard to find at night if you don’t know the area!

If you want a beautiful quiet vacation this is it!

Spent time there with family (all adults). House was great and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need which was good as we cooked every night except one. Living area is a bit tight but it didn't really matter as we spent our time at the beach or outside in the pool or on the deck. Tropic of Cancer beach is amazing. Great little beach shack at the entrance. All good. We would definitely come again!

It's a fantastic property in Little Exuma, and I can't wait to return.

We came to Little Exuma to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday, and our experience at the Silver Palms was amazing. The owner was very responsive and accommodating, Judy, the house manager, was really helpful, and the property was everything we dreamed of and more. We had such a great time and will definitely be back!!!

Cutest Home!!!!

Couldn’t imagine a nicer, more luxurious place to for our vacation getaway!!! We could not have been more pleased with the quality of the accommodations. The property is simply stunning. Service and attention to detail were beyond 5 star. The house was well stocked and we cooked several meals in the home. The pool and outdoor living area were awesome!!!! 1-2 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches!!! The house is maintained and had everything we needed. Perfect combination of luxury and privacy. I can’t say enough about this place! The decor and views set the tone for our stay to be relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend!

Great house, great location!

Our family with three teenagers really enjoyed the house and the area. The amenities (pool and covered deck area) were great! The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds very comfortable. The walk to the beach is super convenient! We would rent the house again!

Great spot, lovely people, beautiful beach

This is a great house in a neighbourhood of lovely people. The beach is spectacular and not crowded. Loved every minute of our time here. The short road from the highway to the beach is a bit like a lunar landscape. Keep that in mind when choosing a rental vehicle!

Best vacation ever!

I have stayed on Exuma 3 times now, the first two at a resort and this last time at this VRBO. By deciding to stay at this home was one of the best things that we could have done on vacation. Working with the owners of this property was a blessing. Two of the nicest people I've ever known. They truly cared and made sure we had everything we needed for a great trip. Their property manager was great as well, she made sure we had what we needed and did her best to answer questions and took care of any problems that came up. My wife and I felt confident that we made the right decision. Once we got the Exuma and saw Silver Palms Retreat, talk about excited! The home, pool, outside sitting area were just as described online. The kitchen had everything anybody would ever need, even if you're a professional chef! The appliances were new and top of the line. The living area has a nice large TV with a great channel line up and even has streaming service ready for you to seat and relax after a long day doing nothing at the beach. Bedrooms looked like something out of a HG magazine and the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms are out of a five star hotel. In short this home could not have been in better. The short walk to the beach revealed a beach that words can not to justice to. This VRBO turned out to be one of the best trips we've ever been on, and we've been on a large number of beach trips. Silver Palms Retreat was just perfect in our book. This trip was for our 40th anniversary. This retreat gave us a great gift, a trip that we well cherish the rest of our years.

Great home on tropic of cancer

Silver Palms retreat was wonderful. It is super clean, super close to the beach - an awesome pool and deck area, very comfy beds, wonderful hosts and has everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend.

Steps to the beautiful TOC beach!!

Georgeous home!! We had a great stay in this beautiful home! Size wise, the house is not huge, but was very comfortable for our family of 2 adults and 3 teens! Beautifully decorated! Pictures are accurate! Beds sleep comfortably! The kitchen is better stocked than my home kitchen…any utensils you need are there!! There was also bottled water for our use! The pool and deck were great…we did experience a lot of mosquitos so don’t forget to bring plenty of bug spray! When the sun goes down they really come out! There were pool floats and snorkel gear to use which was great! The only thing to know about this property is that it is a good 35-40 minute drive to Georgetown…so make sure to stick up on groceries/drinks etc so that you minimize driving time. TOC beach was great! Beautiful soft sand, gentle waves! We would highly recommend this property! The check in and out process was easy and the owner was very responsive. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!!
