Schon im Vorfeld konnten wir mit der Eigentümerin unkompliziert unsere Fragen klären. Das Häuschen selbst ließ keine Wünsche offen! Eine so gute Ausstattung findet man selten! Viel Platz, alles sauber und gemütlich! Bei Ankunft wurden wir persönlich und mit großer Freundlichkeit empfangen, erhielten auch noch gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt! Jederzeit wieder!

Chalet Rana was absolutely perfect for our visit. We stayed along with our 3 adult kids. Home was spotless and stocked with lots of amenities. The views from the deck were spectacular-especially for this Chicago family. Sabine was an amazing host. She met us at the home and walked us through, taking time to show us how everything operated including the all important coffee maker and dishwasher. Sabine also unbelievably baked us a cake for my son’s birthday when she discovered that the local store could not make a nut-free version. While weather was not particularly cooperative, we went on several hikes that start right from the Chalet. What a memorable visit! Highly recommended. Be SURE to plan a dinner the Berghaus

Erholung pur!

Des Chalets von Sabine ist ein Ort der Ruhe und der Gemütlichkeit. Dieser Ferienort ist perfekt für Menschen die eine sehr saubere, gute eingerichtete Unterkunft suchen. Ob man das Bietschhorn vor dem Haus, von der Terrasse aus bestaunt oder abends vor dem Schwedenofen sitzt, dieser Ort ist Erholung pur!

Tolles Chalet im Lötschental

Toller Spätsommeraufenthalt auf der Lauchernalp/Fischbiehl

Wir haben als Familie mit Hund den Aufenthalt im Chalet Rana sehr genossen! Wir alle, auch unser Hund Falco, wurden sehr herzlich von Vermieterin Sabine empfangen. Das Chalet und insbesondere die Küche sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Direkt von der Haustüre aus gibt es vielfätige Möglichkeiten für Bergwanderungen.

Zwei tolle Wochen im Wallis

Wir, zwei Hardcore Bergwanderer mit einem lieben Hund, haben zwei wirklich schöne Wochen in dem schönen Chalet verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man brauchen könnte. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir können es jedenfalls uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr herzlich.

Traumhaft

Tolles Chalet, super sauber, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Erstklassige Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Sie hat uns schon im Vorfeld mit ganz vielen Infos versorgt, so dass alles wirklich absolut reibungslos funktioniert hat. Traumhaftes Wetter hat all das abgerundet. A Comfortable Home Up the Mountainside

We came in the summer looking to hike in the area and it was great. We were there only a few day but wish we had a longer stay. Many hiking/biking trails. Sabrina is a wonderful host and very helpful. It is not a large house but the 3 of us had plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need and all the appliances worked and appear fairly new. Washer and dryer are very nice and the wifi is good. A 15 minute walk to the cable car gets you down to Wiler (if you don't want to drive, a winding road, but very do-able) where there is a small grocery store with delicious fresh fruits, especially the green grapes. I highly recommend it. A sturdy pair of walking shoes are suggested.

Die liebe Hauseigentümerin Sabine hat mich vorab des Urlaubs bereits so fürsorglich und lieb mit Infos von A-Z versorgt, dass ich völlig entspannt in die Schweiz einreisen konnte. Eine komplette Auflistung des üppigen Inventars des Chalets ersparte mir unnötig viel Zeug einzupacken und rückblickend hätte ich noch weniger gebraucht. Vor Ort wusste ich (dank der ganzen Infos) genau, wie alles zu erreichen ist, wo ich etwas finde, wie die Dinge laufen, keine Fragen blieben offen!! Am Haus angekommen wurde ich von Frau Wymann sogleich sehr freundlich begrüßt und zu meiner großen Freude (mein Anhang kam nämlich erst am nächsten Tag) half Sie mir sogar noch mit dem Gepäck tragen. Sie vergewisserte sich ganz genau, dass es uns an nichts fehlt und war für die nächste Zeit laufend erreichbar, falls Probleme auftreten sollten- es gab aber absolut keine. Das Haus bietet alles, was es zu einem herrlichen Urlaub braucht. Es ist super gemütlich, die Aussicht ist grandios, man findet alles, was man für den Alltag benötigt. Das Chalet ist dafür gemacht aus dem Alltag auszuklinken. Ich bin mit Ohrenpfeifen angekommen und ohne abgereist. Die Landschaft drumherum ist nicht zu überbieten. Da man bereits weit oben ist, kann man einfach loslaufen und das in zig Richtungen. Wir alle können das Chalet Rana ohne Zweifel empfehlen- nebst der lieben, fürsorglichen Gastgeberin!!! Wat een geweldige plek

Na een warm onthaal door Sabine , eigenaar woning, startte onze fantstische vakantie. De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien. Locatie is mooi. Mormeldieren rondom het huis, op loopafstand van de gondel en vanuit het huis kan je vele wandelingen maken. Gratis OV is echt ideaal(incl de gondel) Kortom een aanrader.

Gemütliche Weihnachtsferien

Die sehr sympathische Gastgeberin stand uns jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Das heimelige Hüsli ist top ausgestattet, wir fühlten uns gleich wie daheim. Die Anreise ist abenteuerlich und ein besonderes Highlight für uns war, dass wir mit den Schlitten zum Einkaufen ins Tal fahren konnten. Vielen Dank an Sabine, dass du dieses Bijou teilst!

Chalet Rana is exactly as advertised, we can recommend this vacation residence without hesitations.

Chalet Rana is exactly as advertised, we can recommend this vacation residence without hesitations. In July 2019 our family including dog spent a great week at Chalet Rana in Fischbiel/Lauchernalp, located about one kilometer from the summit station of the cable car Lauchernalp. We found Chalet Rana spotless, the kitchen was fully furnished, including the basic condiments. The open living / dining room was cozy and included a wood-burning stove. The beds in the two bedrooms were comfortable and having two bathrooms with showers was very convenient. Great views from the balcony and porch as advertised! While we (regrettably) never had the opportunity to meet the owner Sabine Wymann in person, she has been a gracious host, very responsive and accommodating in handling our short notice reservation. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable place to enjoy the mountain views and undertake hikes throughout the Magic Valley of Lötschental, we can recommend Chalet Rana without any hesitations. Please note: The grocery store located within the cable station Lauchernalp is closed during summer. Bread can be ordered at the store in Wiler by phone and will be delivered in the morning at the cable station Lauchernalp. The well-appointed store in Wiler however is open and can be reached within three short walking minutes from the cable car station in the valley. For registered guests at Lauchernalp use of the cable car is free of charge.

Stunning location . Great for hiking in beautiful valley & mountains.

Very comfortable chalet high up above the valley with fantastic views and wonderful walks straight from the house. Sabine was very helpful even though we did not meet her .The house had everything we needed for a family of four. Village shop very well stocked and excellent mountain huts for high altitude refreshments . Summer snow added to the beauty.

Schönes Chalet mit super Bergblick

Gemütliches und toll ausgestattetes Chalet in Fischbiel, Lauchernalp

Toll gelegen, wenn man es nach dem Skifahren ruhig mag; gemütlich und äusserst komplett eingerichtet; zum Haushalten fehlt gar nichts. Sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Kontakt zur privaten Besitzerin. Ideal auch für Familien mit Hund.
