Adorable beach cottage

I was delighted with the cottage location, decor and cleanliness. Having the courtyard with outdoor eating areas, cornhole and two pools on the property made the stay even more fun and relaxing. Would stay here again.

Stay summarization

The house was nice, quaint and quiet. The refrigerator was very slow to cool down, and the shower stall is nice but a bit small. It had a tendency to leak when used ( it needs alignment and new seal). The office personnel were fantastic! Pleasant and cordial. Overall it was very nice.

My hotel experience

The place was very clean. One of our bedroom door didn’t have a lock, our living room air condition didn’t work. The refrigerator took 24hrs to make our drinks cold. For the amount paid, I think the hotel manager should make sure everything is in order and in better working condition.

Property was clean. Kitchen was small but had everything we needed. Air conditioning worked well but a little loud when watching TV. Overall great space for our group.

Very clean & convenient to the boardwalk

We had a great stay here! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The bedrooms were nice sized, nice living room area and having a full kitchen was also great! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The pool was very clean and refreshing! The location is also great! With only being a block from the boardwalk it was perfect to walk up too with my toddler! Would denfitely recommend staying here!

Daytona Inn and Suites

Very clean but did not care for window air conditioner units, one bathroom for 3 people and only 2 beds and a sofabed. Also location very crowded and noisy from neighboring units. Needing a quieter space.

At the moment the I’ve arrived at the check in it was a little misunderstanding with what says on Vrbo vs what they’re saying but that was clear with the staff and also it says the check out is at 12 but is actually at 10 am .

The property was extremely clean. The employee at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Parking for the location was right next door. There was a large area in the back for games and outdoor dining. Overall great experience.

Great location

The place was dated, but you can’t be the location. One block off boardwalk and close to all needed amenities. Check out time is actually 10am, not noon as the listing indicates. Check in time is 4pm. Space for one car but plenty of paid parking spots all around if needed. Cute balcony (shared with next door neighbor) with chairs for people watching. Check in was smooth and housekeeping was accommodating.

The stay at Daytona Inn never happened. They overbooked and told me they could not honor the reservation. I had to book another hotel. The owner of Daytona promised me a refund, but as of today (8/26) no refund has arrived. They say they mailed a check on 7/28, but no check has arrived.

Location, location, location

The property looked as advertised, all be it a little worn... We were a family of grands, parents and kids. 1 block from boardwalk and beach! 2 pools very warm and refreshing. We had quite a visit. Thanks!

Review

The check in and check out times were not what was told they were going to be which is very disappointing. Also we were across the street from the hotel which we didn’t know, so we weren’t close to the pool at all. That was also not described or explained when we booked. The fridge didn’t get that cold. However the house was clean.
