Wonderful week at the beach!

This property offers the perfect mix of bayside gorgeous sunsets and walking convenience to the pristine private beach at Diamond Beach. The townhouse’s covered deck sunrise and sunset views cannot be beat. It is conveniently located just outside of the bridge leading to Cape May and the heart of Wildwood is just minutes away. Michael is an excellent host!

Great views

Nice condo with beautiful views which we enjoyed everyday off of the roomy deck. We enjoyed our days at the private beach, while using chairs and equipment kindly provided by the owner. Each day we swam in the pool located just outside of the condo. We enjoyed the location, being close to mini golf and ice cream shop. Our vacation was full of fun!

Great communication with owner - great location!

The location is very quiet and right on the bay - gorgeous sunsets! You can walk to a few restaurants and stores, which is convenient as well. As for the house, it was very neat and clean. Very clear directions given by the owner. Any questions to the owner were answered very quickly via e-mail - great owner to rent from!

Vacation in a Vacation!!!!

My family enjoyed this home so much . It had gorgeous views of sunset . It was located on the bayside . It was a few block walk to beach but not so far of a walk . Our grandson loved seeing all the birds . We all loved this place and will definitely be interested in renting again . Very quiet and peaceful.

Fabulous

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. It was perfect for all. Everything was in walking distance. We enjoyed the pool, especially our grandchildren (ages 4&5) and everyone was so friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch which was so peaceful and had an amazing view. The golf, ice cream parlor, shops and restaurants being so close was a huge advantage. Absolutely loved this property and Michael was awesome. Cannot wait to vacation here again! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Diamond Beach

We were pleasantly surprised that the condo was just as described. It was fully equipped, except for the sheets that we rented through the owner. The owner was most helpful in answering all of our questions prior to our arrival. The unit was in an ideal location right next to the pool. We often had the pool to ourselves. The unit has a covered porch with a beautiful view of the bay and daily views of the sunset. The beach was only 3 blocks away. Diamond beach was clean and private. There was also a bar and café on the beach. We had a great time and made last memories with our family.

Labor Day weekend at Diamond Beach

This property is exactly as listed. Everything is so close by. This area is so beautiful the restaurants are tough to book so keep that in mind when renting these properties and search out the better food places ahead of time. The members of the complex that Michael owns in are so friendly and willing to share advice about their community. You'll love it here. WE DID!!! The perks that aren't listed is the fact that the beach is only accessible to the Diamond Beach 6 block neighborhood. It was easily one of the friendliest beaches we have been at. We have an 8 month old and a 3 1/2 year old. Perfect beach for all ages.

Wonderful stay!

The accommodations were spacious and well equipped. WiFi was strong. The kitchen was well stocked. Dining room table was very roomy. The view from the covered deck was absolutely gorgeous. During the day you can gaze at the waterfowl and watch the sunset over the water every night. The pool was warm and clean. Excellent location near Cape May, very walkable to the beach, and a short drive to the boardwalk. Michael was an excellent host and answered all of our questions. Will definitely stay here again. Only negative was the fold away mattresses downstairs which were not very comfortable.

Great vacation

My family and I had an exceptional stay at this property. Spacious for our extended family with a breathtaking view. Great location. The pool was perfect and hardly had anyone ever in it! Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Would definitely recommend. Only slight negative is we had trouble with the Wi-Fi sometimes but we had six adults and a toddler with a tablet and all the TVs so we overloaded the network. Otherwise it was perfect! Host was reachable and responsive.

Wonderful Family Vacation

The condo provided plenty of space for our extended family of 6 adults and 2 children. We enjoyed the easy access to the pool and the beauty and peacefulness of the covered deck made this condo special. Michael was easy to work with and provided the condo stocked with all the conveniences of home.

Great Family Vacation

The property was very nice just as described, which allowed us to focus on enjoying our time together. Michael was responsive and helpful to our needs in a timely manor. We would book it again and recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful townhouse near beach

Michael was a helpful and gracious host. The townhouse is in a uniquely private spot next to a bird sanctuary which provided a peaceful view from the large balcony. Sunsets were gorgeous. The walk to the beach was manageable - we liked the morning and evening times at the beach, quiet and beautiful. The townhouse has really comfortable beds, lots of space with a bonus family room downstairs, the interior is clean and newly painted, everything felt fresh and new in the kitchen. Due to COVID, we didn’t explore much but enjoyed the pool with our youngest child and the mini golf and ice cream next door. I highly recommend booking this townhouse.

Great Place to stay!

We had a fabulous stay at your home. The sunsets were amazing as we watched them from the porch. Just a few short blocks and you were on the beach. The house was clean and comfortable.

Great Diamond Beach location

Walk to grocery, beach shop, & minigolf w/ awesome soft ice cream. Great view off the ample covered deck. Nice, small, friendly complex. The unit is nicely furnished, w/ comfy beds & updated baths. Lots of TVs. only ding: upstairs/downstairs access a bit tough via narrow spiral staircase, but outdoor stairs are a reasonable workaround weather-permitting.

Great views, great for family stay!

We just returned from a week-long stay at Mike's house in Diamond Beach and we had a great time. There were 7 of us in all: me and my husband, my 2 teenage children and their 2 friends, and my mother--and we all fit comfortably! The 16 year old boys took the cots (and couch and TV) in the basement, and the rest of us were upstairs with Grandma in the queen bed, the 14 year old girls in the twin bed room, and me & hubby in the tempurpedic king bed in the master! I slept wonderfully all week. The combo of the kitchen table and kitchen counter with stools were just right for our group, and if the weather was nicer, some of us could eat at the table on the deck! BTW, the deck was very nice for morning coffee and reading and bird watching, and especially the beautiful sunsets over the bay & nature preserve. Perfect view! Though the beach was 4 or 5 blocks from the house, it wasn't a bad walk, and if we went early enough we could drop off chairs, etc. and park closer. Another good thing about the distance is that it's very quiet at this condo. Apart from seeing a few people at the pool, it is a quiet community which is what we were looking for in our vacation. Within a quick walk from the house (within a block or two) was ice cream, mini golf, a well stocked beach shop, an Italian market that made Taylor Ham sandwiches! and a pizza/Italian restaurant! It was nice to have all of that so close by. The house is spacious (we didn't feel like we were on top of each other all week) is very clean and neat, decorated nicely, and has the basics in the kitchen (plates, utensils, margarita glasses), and the beds are comfy. Mike will tell you, but don't forget to bring your own sheets, beach towels, and supplemental bath towels. We really enjoyed our week at the Jersey Shore, and are thankful for this great property and Mike's excellent care of it! I'd definitely stay here again, and I'd recommend it to others!!!

Fantastic in Every Way!

My family and I were searching for a clean, spacious house, with a nice view and a pool, for a fun and relaxing family vacation by the beach. Not always easy to find in the Jersey Shore. We found this unit on VRBO, and booked it based on the description and pictures provided on the listing. Upon entering this Unit, we were extremely happy, as it was represented very well on VRBO. It was everything we were looking for in a shore getaway. The house is very comfortable, well kept, and decorated very nicely. I felt at home, and slept wonderfully. The back porch has a beautiful view overlooking the Bay. There is an electric grill on the porch, which worked very well. We ate many meals outside as we enjoyed the scenery, and the variety of birds flying by. Very relaxing!! The house is a short walk from the best beach in Wildwood (IMO). Diamond Beach is private, thus it is occupied primarily by families renting houses in the vicinity. It was never crowded, and we were always able to setup right by the water for a perfect ocean view. Within walking distance, there is mini-golf, (which my daughter and I enjoyed very much), a Diamond Hut Beach Store (beach chairs, umbrellas, bathing suits, sunglasses, etc) and a grocery store. Across the bridge is Cape May (less than a 10 minute drive), and the Wildwood boardwalk is just a couple of miles away. There are many seafood restaurants in the area, in addition to Italian restaurants, and places to get ice-cream. Mike is very friendly, and attentive. It was a pleasure to rent from him. My family and I were very comfortable and had a great time! I highly recommend this unit, and we look forward to coming back next Summer!

Fabulous Vacation Property

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the week we spent at this property! The two story condominium is exactly as described. It is modern and exceptionally well maintained. We really appreciated the stylish décor, a hotel/resort level feel that was thoughtfully designed. With two floors the condo is very spacious and ideal for families. There is plenty of room on the deck, entertainment room and living/dining room to gather larger groups and enough rooms to spread out when looking for some space. The location of this end unit is ideal. The views of the bay are superb! We enjoyed peaceful mornings and spectacular sunsets every evening on the deck. The condo is literally steps to the pool which is immaculately clean and wonderfully secluded. The bordering tall grasses create an almost exotic feel. And the bay breeze was fabulous, on an exceptionally hot week, we were comfortable the entire time. This particular section of the Wildwoods, Diamond Beach, is our favorite area hands down. A quick 3 block walk to the beach reveals a treasure! With clean bathrooms, a beach club with live music, food truck, access to surfing and paddle boarding...this area feels like a resort. Other attractions nearby include a great miniature golf course, a wonderful range of dining options, charming Cape May, a zoo, shopping and all the boardwalk has to offer. We highly recommend this property. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mike Hemphill, who is very gracious and accommodating. The only question we would have about renting this property again is which week to choose!

Most relaxing vacation ever

Mike is wonderful to work with. The house is very comfortable. Best nights sleep on the king size bed.Plenty of room for the whole family and enough space for everyone to have their own splace.We even got to enjoy the old clasics like Flipper and Gidget. The view spctacular, I never wanted to leave that view. Tranquil is putting it mild.We were able to see all the fireworks with out dealing with the crowds. Location was great walk to the beach never crowded.There is a private beach club that had a band playing often when we were on the beach just a nice added feature. Some very beautiful homes in the are to see. The condo is in a great area mini golf and ice cream on the corner Beach store had everything you need and not badly priced on the other corner. Food market and very good Italian food and pizza all on the same block. Location in between Cape May and Wildwood. best of all close to everything but not right there so you can relax and not feel like you have to be doing all the time, and spending money. Having the pool was nice for just a dip to cool off. My Granddaughter 9 yrs enjoyed watching the birds and painting a picture of the scenery and the bird that always come and sits on the branch by the deck. If you are really looking for a relaxing family vacation I highly recomend you call Mike. Make sure to go to the lobster house. But go at 4:00 or you will wait 1 1/2 hrs. Best food . We are looking foward to going back. Enjoy we did.

Relaxing Beach Vacation

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in Harbor Vista and the first time we have stayed in this Unit. The unit is well kept and very tastefully decorated. The furnishings, decor and colors are current and in excellent condition. The views of the sound from the main living areas are phenomenal. We find it very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Love to sit out on the covered porch enjoying the view while having our morning coffee, reading a book or hanging out in the evening with candles lit. Love this section of Diamond Beach. We park ourselves along the fence line of the restricted wildlife protected area and it feels like we are the only ones at the beach. After a day at the beach you can come back and go for a dip in the pool. Usually you have that all to yourself too. So nice to be able to park 2 cars and store your beach equipment in a garage. There is plenty of additional street parking nearby. There is a beach supply shop and convenience store within walking distance and some very nice restaurants close by. Owner Michael Hemphill was very pleasant to deal with. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Harbor Vista 101: A Vacation Dream Where You Can Have It All

Harbor Vista 101 is a vacation dream. If you are looking to vacation at the New Jersey Shore in the Wildwoods and Cape May area, it doen't get much better than this. "Why", you ask? The range of options for your vacation that range from the beach, to quiet & restful accommodations, to the boardwalk at the Wildwoods and its attractions, convenient services and restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. My family and I have enjoyed leasing this unit from owner Mike Hemphill for the past two years. His description at VRBO's web-site was as presented. The unit is in a fantastic location. One of the prime reasons I was interested in this location is the fact that it is not along the Wildwood beaches with all of the other highrise buildings. The view of Jarvis Sound is wonderful to observe fantastic sunsets and enjoy a relaxing drink at the end of the day. This townhouse development is clean and Mike's unit is very comfortable and well appointed. The pool is a convenient and a nice feature. The indoor parking really does help to keep your car cool & protected. Finally, your only neighbor is an 18 hole mini-golf course and ice-cream stand. Kids love this! However, convenience services and several local restaurants are within a 2 to 4 block walking distance, a big help. Access to the local beach is a 3 block walk. The beach club at this beach ( access included in the lease) has food services on the beach and access to private, clean bathrooms on the entry to the beach. A large, flat beach, with a gentle drop into the ocean made this a great beach for my kids and family in general. Its proximity to the bird sanctuary at the Coast Guard Base next door made for great side trips for exploring. Finally, everyday on the beach we had repeated sightings of dolphins no more that 50 feet off the beach. Great and exciting to see! We liked that while this area was quiet and relaxing, if you want more entertainment the Wildwood Boardwalk is a 5 minute drive away. The kids really loved the rides and the beach shops are, if nothingelse, entertaining to see the "stuff" they are selling. Multiple restaurants and food choices exist throughout the area. Cape May and its beaches are also close by. The lighthouse, bird sanctuary and state beach are worth a visit. Also, within 20 minutes of this location to the north is the county zoo (great for kids) & nearby historic garden (great for birds & plants/gardens). Thanks Mike, for a great vacation location!

Our favorite beach house!

We've stayed at Mike's condo two years in a row, and have had wonderful vacations both times. The condo is very comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone. Three full baths really makes it easy to coordinate no matter who your traveling companions are. The condo is immaculate, and has every convenience you could want. The kitchen is well-stocked, which is always a big plus for me, since the reason we choose a condo over a hotel is so we can eat in if we want to. The best feature for us is the quiet and beauty of the bay. The deck on this particular unit is secluded from its neighbors and offers shade during the day. We enjoy coffee in the morning listening to the birds and at night, cocktails watching the sun set. We highly recommend and can't wait to go back again next year.
