the host told us she wouldn't use the jetted tubs because she didn't know how clean they were. also advertised continental breakfast that was not available. her comment made us change hotels the next day....

We love this hotel! Our room was clean , smelled nice and the bed was super comfy and freshly laundered. The staff was friendly and there are a few choices for close food and convenience stores. I love to upgrade my room for about $10 more to the jacuzzi room to make it an extra relaxing stay .

Wiggins has a gem of a hotel
Discovered a clean, affordable, well run hotel. The room was recently remodeled. Bathroom clean with towels and amenities. The parking lot is well lit, with surveillance. Why bother going to Hattiesburg? Stay in Wiggins!

Nice place to stay
I've stayed here many times when traveling through Wiggins on business trips. Always a comfortable place to stay and conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. This hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious, accommodating staff and old school beautiful with wide staircase and wood crown mouldings. I look forward to coming back once a month on business trips. Easy access to Hwy 49. Hotel is sitting literally right on the exit.

Comfortable and clean facility
We were very happy with our accommodations at Amercas Best Value in Wiggins. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. We would stay here again.

We stayed in a room with 2 queen sizes beds. It included 1 standard pillow on each bed and 4 sham-sized pillows... not very comfortable at all for 2 adults, and 2 teenagers to sleep on. No breakfast items offered (shouldve read the fine print?) I did not see an elevator for access to the second floor and the tub was not ADA compliant. No rails around the toilet or in the shower. Shower gel container seemed to be clogged. This place is definitely due for some upgrades!

Check in was super simple and easy. I accidentally booked a smoking room, but worker was able to move me to a non smoking room. There were a couple of small stain spots on the sheets, but nothing to bad. We were able to sleep just fine and would stay here again if we are in the area. As we were going to our room on the 2nd floor, (there is no elevator that we found) there was a strong marijuana smell coming from a room, but again neither of these bothered us because all we were doing was getting to the room to sleep after driving from Jacksonville.

Not sure where great reviews come from!
Not sure where all the great reviews come from. The place smelled a strong odor of weed upon entering. The bed linens and towels were so stained and old and looked like they weren’t washed in months. The bed sounded as if it was going to fall apart when you moved. The positive, the AC was cold.

I would stay again if necessary.
I accidently booked a smoking room. The check-in clerk moved me and my cat to a non-smoking room, no problem. There is a 2nd floor but no elevator, you must use the stairs. The hotel itself was a little musty smelling but, the hotel did have dehumidifiers in the hallways. Once my air conditioner was turned on the room was quite comfortable. There was instant hot water and plenty of it. The bathroom was very clean. When cleaning up after my cat there was a tissue and a sock under the bed skirt that were not mine. The rest of the room was clean.

Lovely Hotel
I've stayed here several times when in town on business trips. If you're looking for a quiet comfortable place to sleep, this is it. All rooms I've stayed in have been clean, quiet and comfortable. All amenities within the room that you would need. Check out the beautiful wood crown moulding in the building and the wide staircase that you don't see anymore in other hotels. This place is a hidden gem. Owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming.

Lovely Quiet Place To Rest
This is a quiet, wonderful hotel that's I will be returning to when in town for business. A very comfortable stay with all amenities within my room. Breakfast isn't served but I usually skip anyway. No elavator but loved the wide staircase and balcony with beautiful crown mouldings in the lobby. Check In was quick and easy and my room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable and I had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, iron and board if I needed it. This place may not be for everyone but it suited my needs very well. It had a nostalgic feel of yesterday's hotels that I love.

People above us were noisy and walking the floor all night. Room was clean and mostly quiet. WiFi didn't work but that's okay. Overall good stay.
