Sheppard AFB Visit

We adored the home and the quiet neighborhood. Sitting on the front porch relaxing while observing the squirrels and birds was peaceful. Our Airman was able to relax and spend time with us. The property was perfect for us.

Beautiful Neighborhood!

Very nice home. Incredibly well stocked!!! The owner thinks of everything someone might need and then some!!! Extremely clean inside. Outdoor areas were somewhat neglected. Was looking forward to sitting on the front porch to read and people watch, but the furniture needed cleaning. Back patio furniture was the same. Communication with owner was excellent!

Nice stay

Perfect for our needs. Very clean 2 bedrooms, 2baths and close to our event. Traveled with our dogs. Nice but small backyard and dogs enjoyed it. Nice neighborhood and small park across the street. Would definitely stay there again.

Character and charm

Our favorite part of our stay was sitting in the reclining chairs in the library, drink coffee and looking out over the park. The cottage was clean, charming and filled with character. Our host was friendly and responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Rachel!

Beautiful cottage

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The check in/out process was super easy and the house was everything we expected and more. We felt right at home the moment we got there. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone traveling to Wichita Falls!

Quiet peaceful getaway

Came to town for a memorial, location was great. House was super clean; with a lot of cool things, like a museum. Host was very accommodating and communicated everything clearly. Was a breeze, we'll stay here again next time we come to town.

Beautiful Accommodations

My first impression was about the neighborhood: tree-lined streets with well-established, nicely kept homes. As I pulled into the driveway I noticed the lovely green shrubs, plants and grassy area. After closing the gate behind me, I let the dogs out into the completely fenced area. And if you are wondering the fence is 8 feet tall except for the iron gate to the driveway. I guess it's about 5-6 feet tall. Stepping inside the home I began feeling like I was house-sitting and not entering a vacation rental. You could tell this home is well-loved and used by its owner. Everything you need is in the well-equipped, large kitchen. The bedrooms are very nice size and comfortable. If you love playing the piano, baby grand is waiting. Book reader? There is a nice library. Since I was visiting my son and his wife, I wasn't here for sightseeing or entertainment. He lives just 2 miles from this home so we were like neighbors. They came over and we chatted and cooked. I went to their home and we chatted and cooked. We had a lovely time together. Keep in mind this is AnyWhere, USA so you have all the restaurants you might be used to: Olive Garden, Cheddars, Jason's Deli, Smoothie King and much more. We went to a couple of these and had even more time to share. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area with your dogs, this would be my #1 choice. I WILL be back!

Absolutely charming house!

What an absolute delight it was to stay at this beautiful and charming house! It’s in a great area & neighborhood with a park right across the street! Centrally located to everything! The house had everything we needed plus so much more! Painos & harps added some musical fun to our stay! My 5 year old daughter can’t wait for piano lessons after staring in this home! My husband appreciated the desk and was able to do some work while we were here! My favorite room was definitely the sunroom! I enjoyed coffee in it every morning! Highly recommend!

Cozy and homey

The home was very inviting….from the musical instruments to the jacuzzi tub! The neighbors were hospitable and the park across the street was great for playing football and soccer with our grandchildren. Our host was gracious and quickly reminded when needed. The cottage would be great to stay on a rainy day!

Harp House

How often do you get to stay somewhere that has a HARP?? (Rachel actual has SEVERAL) We came in for a wedding and she was the one playing for it! We had no idea. It was a double bonus getting to meet her AND hear her play. Her house was very very clean and spacious. The photos don't do it justice. We highly recommend staying here. Also, the yard is safe and totally enclosed, if you have pets or small children.

Christmas gathering

My family came to WF to celebrate Christmas. After taking a ride on the Polar Bear express at MSU to look at Christmas lights, we sang carols at the house while my sister accompanied us on the beautiful baby grand piano. The lovely Christmas decorations in the home added to the festivities.

Beautiful home and neighborhood!

Nicely decorated home in quiet neighborhood with nice, large trees along the street. Everything was clean and well stocked. The location is fantastic with many stores and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed visiting family and having our dogs stay with us! Thank you Rachel!

Quaint and Cozy

The Perfect Home!

This home and its owner could not have been more hospitable & accommodating and made the weekend of my 50th high school reunion even more special. The home was beautiful, all the amenities were perfect, wonderful location in the heart of the most established neighbors in Wichita Falls. I grew up there and returning home to stay in a hotel sounded bleak. When I saw this home and all it offered, it has spoiled me for every future stay. It felt like our home for the weekend and recommend highly!!

Quiet Retreat

My friend and I wanted a low-key get away to just relax, visit and catch up. We decided on a spot halfway between our two towns and we were lucky to find this lovely home in a very lovely neighborhood. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly book this property again.
