"We enjoyed our stay at the Lochbay house.Great views of the bay and ocean. Enjoyed morning coffee with the views and watching the baby sheep behind the house.Excellent communication with our host. The house well appointed and enjoyed the fireplace in the evening.This was a perfect home base for exploring Skye and all it has to offer."

The property looks remote on the map but is quite convenient and we actually saw some of the most stunning and quintessential Scottish highland sceneries to and from the property (like the highland cows). "We had a wonderful stay and love the Old Church. Beautiful views and the rooms are lovely. We had a great lobster dinner on our first night there with a freshly delivered catch! Staying on Skye was a dream! The only thing that would have made it perfect was a washer and dryer in our side of the property. Fantastic stay! Thank you! "

"This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. "

"Our stay here was perfectly timed in the middle of our trip, giving us the peaceful place to rest and recharge...not to mention wash clothes. "We had a wonderful stay in Cairnmhor House! The house is spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent -in a quiet area, but only a quick walk from downtown. "

"Terrific location and comfortable accommodations for a family adventure to Skye. Very easy walk into town for restaurants and shops, of which there are many. Portree is a central location for exploring the rest of Skye. Nice to have separate rooms - and bathrooms, for all of our boys. Showers are small, but good hot water and pressure. Host is very responsive and accommodating. "

"Access is a bit difficult and the no noise rule after 10pm was not imposed so it took a while to go to sleep. Nevertheless installations are good and clean and the location is simply perfect to wake up and go in a hiking"
