Great property for our weekend away. Very spacious and comfortable spaces in the house with lots of good spots on the property for different activities. Bring your footy tee for a goal kicking comp on the full size footy field!

Amazing property for large groups
We had an amazing time at this property! There were 15 young adults and we all fit extremely comfortably. Heaps to do here, we loved the kayaks! Definitely will be returning.

Great House for Big Groups - but be warned...
We had an excellent stay in Whoota. The house is perfectly set up for large gatherings or big families. House manager however wasn't well prepared to host us. The floor plan shows 20 beds, there were 18. There was no house guide, so we constantly had to message to ask things like how to turn on the stove and how to get into the garage. The final insult was being charged an extra $80 for neatly leaving rubbish next to the overflowing bins that couldn't take anymore. Spare bins were apparently 200m away from the house, by the road. Without clear instructions on what to do with surplus rubbish, we were shocked to be charged extra. Hopefully, the owners are better prepared in future as we'd like to stay there again.

Thank you for you input. Im glad your group of 18ppl enjoyed the stay. There were clear instructions regarding the bins at the end of the driveway and i feel $4 per guest was a reasonable charge to collect the 15 bags of spilt rubbish from across the driveway. Many thanks

Fantastic lakeside property

Great views
Was a lovely big house and heaps of room to move around and lost of bathrooms was a bonus. Big walk to the patoon and not alot of parking up near the house for every car.

5th time staying here and plan to be back many more times in the future.
This past weekend I organised a skiing weekend with a bunch of friends and unfortunately it rained the whole time so we couldn’t get the boat out. But the house is so well equipped that everyone was comfortable and everyone had an incredible time despite the weather. Having stayed here previously I know that Wallis Lakehouse is second to none when it comes to entertainment and facilities. The whole property is meticulously maintained and you need for absolutely nothing while you are there. Speaking to Patrick (owner) and Kevin (manager) was an absolute breeze, they are very responsive and nothing is a problem for either of them. I could not recommend Wallis Lakehouse more highly and I cannot wait to return.

Family Holiday
This is an amazing property for a big family getaway. The views and surroundings were spectacular. We stayed with 3 families and there was lots of space and heaps to do for the kids. The built in coolroom made storage and entertaining easy. Definitely a place we have on the list to visit again

Excellent property for a relaxing holiday
Property was very roomy and in very good condition. We were a family group of 15 and the pool, lake & kayaks meant we didn't have to leave the property at all. Fantastic cooking conditions and kitchen well stocked with pots,trays cuttlery etc. Highly recommend this property.

Wallis Lakehouse
Great property for an extended family of 16 to enjoy. Loved the location & isolation of the property but at the same time only a 5 minute drive to Blueys for coffee & the beach. Big pool was used frequently & kitchen brilliant for preparing a couple of banquets. Everyone loved the cool room. Will be back for sure.

Great location, great accommodation
This was our second trip to Wallis Lakehouse and I would not hesitate recommending this location to others. Wallis Lakehouse is a great place to spend the day in the pool or having a game of cricket or to return to after a day on the golf course or at the beach.

Better in person
The place was amazing, better than we expected from the pics. It easily accommodated our group of 20 people & had lots of area outside if you were to have more people camping. Everything was clean, well organised and comfortable. The property is huge, well groomed, surrounded by bush and water. Pool was warm and pool area had lots of tables and chairs + big bbq for entertaining. Cricket pitch was also great. Highly recommend

We recently stayed at the property with extended family and had a great time.. the owner was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions, the house was as described and the setup was perfect for our guests ranging in age from 2 to 75 years... beautiful location and definitely keen to go back!

Great accommodation to include the in-laws
We were able to fit a family of 18 into this property with ease. There are plenty of toilets and showers for everyone to use. The large acres are fantastic for the children to be free to roam and play cricket, soccer and footy. The view is just beautiful and location in very private and peaceful. The property manager and caretaker where very helpful and informative.

The perfect getaway for large groups.
Everything about our stay was perfect. The property is incredible and has everything you could need and more, and Patrick and Kevin are flexible and beyond helpful. They were accommodating to our large event and very easy to communicate with. We have stayed a few times before so this wasn't our first and this definitely won't be our last. Thank you for everything Wallis Lakehouse team!

Absolutely perfect holiday accommodation.
Absolutely perfect accommodation and property for the 7 adults & 6 children in our family who were able to visit during the Easter long weekend. The house is well set out with ample seating in the lounge & dining areas. There is a gorgeous pool close to the house with a BBQ inside the fenced area. The view from every room is lovely, particularly from the living area as this looks down the property to the lake. The kitchen is large & beautifully styled. There is an abundance of crockery, cutlery & glass ware, as well as plastic plates & cups for the younger children. The owner is planning to add a few other bits & pieces to the existing equipment. It was good having 3 bathroom & toilets. The laundry is well equipped - useful with 6 kids in the group. We played soccer & enjoyed using the Cricket Pitch. We took our own kayaks & life vests, but there were also some available. Our dog visited for two days and was well accommodated. We also enjoyed the abundant bird life. Patrick, the owner & the caretaker Kevin were both helpful and easy to communicate with. We agreed unanimously that we would like to return to Wallis Lakehouse.

Stunning location to celebrate!
We stayed at Wallis Lakehouse with 40 of my friends and family to celebrate my birthday and everyone fell in love with the house! The location and views are unbeatable. We all enjoyed the pool, as well as kayaking on the lake. It is rare and enjoyable to find a place where you can have a party without disturbing the neighbors :) We will come back! Thank you Patrick

Amazing House with Everything You Need
Wallis Lake House was simply amazing. I celebrated my 40th with family and friends and I couldn't ask for a better spot! The house has so much room and everything to offer children, teens and adults. The owners were so accommodating nothing was ever a bother! Fantastic for a family break or a group of close friends with children. The view, the walk in cold room - WOW. Will definitely staff again

Fantastic
I recently stayed here with 20 of my girlfriends for my hens party. The photos of this place does it no justice, When we arrived we we're over the moon that we chose Wallis lakehouse. It is So spacious, with 3 bathrooms and full length mirrors all the girls had plenty of space to get ready without being on top of each other. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have a big family. I hope I can visit again one day.

We had a 4 day weekend here with a bunch of 40 something men on a golfing trip. This was the perfect location! Plenty of space, a walk in cool room, and a game of cricket on the oval. Great location, great ameneties, great place. Could not recommend highly enough.

A little piece of paradise
We had a group of 10 away for a golfing / fishing weekend. We found Wallis Lakehouse to be a hidden gem. The house was great, plenty of room and slept all of us very comfortably. The pool was great to enjoy a beer or two after a day on the course overlooking the stunning Wallis Lake. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family looking for a great family or large group trip away. We will definitely be booking this place again next year.

Beautiful house in beautiful location
We booked this house as a change of scenery to our usual camping weekends with a bunch of mates and we will definitely be back! The location is great, the privacy is amazing and the house is just incredible.
