"Lovely old property with lots of character. Comfortable beds and nicely furnished. As a group of friends we enjoyed our stay. 20 min taxi or bus ride into York. Very few negatives. Bit of road noise as it's a busy road, a few hair dryers would have been nice, description said it was near a shop, but not the case."

"We had everything we needed to make our stay a really good one. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Everything was catered for kitchen wise. Hob, microwave, toaster, kettle all in excellent order. The staff were lovely. Kirsty and Leah in particular could not have been more helpful. Thank you to Deuce for making our stay a great one."

"Very nice clean apartment, had everything we needed. It is small but would be perfect for a couple. We managed as a family of 4 and its in a great location not far from York. Bed is super comfy. We had a lovely time."

"A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again."

"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

"The apartment was as described. Clean, comfortable and convenient as only 10-15 mins walk to town. There are a couple of things that could be improved. Firstly, the living / dining /kitchen area could do with a roller blind as the sun was pouring into that room for half the day and it was uncomfortably hot in there. "We had a really lovely time staying at Hudson 5. The property is beautifully decorated and feels very welcoming as soon as you arrive. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. The location was also a big plus, being so close to the centre and within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. Overall we had a great experience and would happily stay here again."
