My husband and I stayed here for few night getaway hoping for a serene and peaceful location with scenic views and this house did not disappoint. We loved the screened in porch outside the master bedroom which allowed us to appreciate the view while it was raining for a couple days of our stay. The hot tub was nice in the cold evenings. The kitchen was stocked and allowed us to cook a couple of our meals with no problem. Having coffee available was nice in the mornings as we took in the view. The house was clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable and the fireplace worked nicely to warm us up during the cold evenings. The drive to and from the house and the steep driveway took some maneuvering for us south-Louisianians but we did it and were pretty proud of ourselves for conquering it! I’m sure it’s nothing for the local folks but something to be aware of if you’re not used to it. The hosts provided information timely and were available to communicate when needed. Highly recommend!
