"So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical.
Definitely worth an annual visit

"Absolutely stunning venue, we cant believe we havent visited before. Customer service is outstanding from the moment you arrive. The mansion itself is glorious, with rooms to match.
Both evening meal and breakfast was to the highest standard. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special."

"The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food.
Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent.
I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes"

You could not see the sea. Itvwas close to Shanklin town.
