Very noisy. Sounded like there was a party in the lobby very late. No one at desk at checkout. When I checked my bank account I was charged double for the room. The issued a credit and then charged the correct room price. The credit takes 4 to 5 days to appear but the correct charge comes out right away. So now have 3 times the charge coming out of my account. It has been 3 days. Really hoping the credit shows up.

Shout out to Katie, the manager onsite on April 7, 2024. She was exceptionally welcoming, thorough and efficient in taking of the crowds arriving to view the Total Solar Eclipse. We really appreciated her!!

Receptionist was so sweet and helpful. Cafeteria/dining area was freezing cold. Stained towel that looked unappetizing. The cat on property is a risk for those with allergies.

Clean and comfortable overnight stay. No problem at all. Breakfast was not that great - no decaf coffee or tea. No hairdryer in room- front desk said someone must have taken it. Overall was good.

The stay was perfect for quick stop on a road trip. Breakfast was minimal and the area had no other food options, but otherwise it was exactly what we needed. Low price to have a pet stay too!

Everything was fine but I was disappointed that there were no biscuits and gravy for breakfast as that is (or at least was) standard at all of the Best Western properties I’ve stayed at. But, if that’s all there is to complain about, then you’re doing a great job. 😃

Quick Stay
The hotel is perfect for a quick rest off the road. It was clean & safe. Also perfect if visiting a loved one at Big Muddy. The only issues I had were service & an odor. There was no one at the front desk for my check in & I waited abt 10 minutes for someone to come check me in. My room also had a dead smell when I ran the air conditioner but I’m not certain why that is.

Stinky place
I chose this place because it was a Best Western property. The outside of the building was nice. The lobby was very nice and smelled fresh. As I made my way down the hall it was very muggy and there were two portable dehumidifiers in the hallway. I thought that was odd and the air swaps starting to smell the further I got from the lobby. My room was all the way at the end first floor. The room appeared clean but smelled like a stale motel room. I turned on the air to try to dry it up a bit and as the night went on it got worse. I think Holiday Inn bought a property on the cheap and did the minimum to get it opened and just wants your money. Very disappointing and will never stop here again. I will think twice about staying at Best Western properties too...
