  • Tucked away on the side of a mountain at 3000 ft, this cottage offers an escape into nature with long range views and rippling creek sounds in the distance. The home is close to Dillsboro, Sylva and Bryson City. Enjoy the many activities and beautiful scenery that WNC has to offer. This cabin offers all the comforts of home including a fully stocked kitchen, a gas fireplace, Wi-Fi, yard w/ fire pit, as well as a spacious deck with new grill.

    • 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms
    • Kitchen: Fully equipped, drip coffee maker, Keruig coffee maker, breakfast bar, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of pots & pans
    • Indoor Living: 3 TV's with Roku streaming (includes Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc.), washer & dryer, WiFi, new central heating/AC system, complimentary toiletries
    • Outdoor Living: Large deck with breathtaking mountain views, gas grill, wood burning fire pit, outdoor dining table and seating

    Other things to note:
    • Road is steep; 4WD or SUV encouraged, but not required.
    • The internet here is not always reliable and could go out with certain weather conditions.
    • Cell service is can be limited.

This cottage was perfect for our vacation! It was a quiet and secluded place for relaxing on the porch, with a great view of the mountains. The house had everything we needed and was a pleasure to come back to at the end of a day of exploring. We would definitely go back again. Thank you!

We felt very at home here, so did our doggies. The view was absolutely beautiful. The driveway made me a little nervous, but my husband had no problem with it. Would stay again!

Whataview is a cozy cabin, super comfortable set up with great amenities. My life partner and I really enjoyed our 3 day stay. Highly recommend staying!!

This is a great property to stay at. The view is great. The home is clean and well stocked. It’s such a relaxing and peaceful place. We absolutely enjoyed it. We will most definitely be booking in the fall to see the spectacular view that I’m sure it is.

Amazing views!!

These views are incredible. It was such a relaxing place to spend the day reading. It was also a great location to go hike. It is a steep drive up though, so SUV is a must.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

Wonderful stay. Quiet neighborhood. We saw a black bear our first day and it made our trip! The owner was easy to contact for any questions and responded promptly. The view was incredible!

Beautiful view in quiet, remote area.

My husband and I were looking for a place to totally relax, away from the hustle and bustle and we found it. High up with a gorgeous Mountain View. Very peaceful and calming. The house is very well maintained and the owner, Michelle, was very responsive. It was a pleasure staying there.

Perfect getaway spot

We loved staying here. It is centrally located to some great hiking spots. If you get a chance check out the Pinnacle Trail located in Sylva! This home is super cozy. It is stocked with plenty of blankets for cozy evenings, and the kitchen is stocked fully as well with all of your kitchen needs. The porch is lovely to sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy the beautiful Mountain View!

This property is amazing!

Michelle was an amazing host, and this property was absolutely gorgeous! I proposed to my girlfriend on this trip, and Michelle went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—she even had a bottle of champagne waiting on us! The views were breathtaking. I will definitely be back, and I would recommend this VRBO to anyone.

So Peaceful

This place is amazing with beautiful views and only the sounds of nature. The drive up is also very scenic and just far enough out from the quaint little town of Sylva and Dillsboro. The house was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. Great communication with Michelle. Would definitely recommend!
