We had a lovely (2-night) stay at this house. It's beautifully presented, well-equipped, and the highlight is the kitchen-diner and huge dining table for us all to enjoy an evening of dinner, games and wine around. It's in a gorgeous little network of Victorian terraced houses in a great location for everything the town has to offer (restaurants, bars, shops, harbour, beach, you name it!).
We were very grateful to be able to bring our dogs and the house worked really well for them. Lovely little back garden, although it was a bit cold for humans to use it!
Appreciate the roadworks right outside the house (extremely loud, starting from 7.30am on the Saturday) were outside the owners' control, but a heads-up before arriving would have been good. Otherwise, this is a very quiet area so once the resurfacing works are done, you'll be able to sleep in as long as you like :)
One ground floor bathroom (bath, no shower) plus one en-suite didn't quite feel enough for a 4-bedroom house, particularly those sleeping on the top floor, but we made it work for a short period of time. This might have put us off a longer stay.
Overall, very happy to recommend this lovely house for a weekend in Whitstable!
