I was fortunate enough to be able to stay at this property for nearly 6 weeks and had a wonderful experience. The listing was exactly as described and very convenient to downtown Whitefish, Big Mountain, Whitefish Lake, and Glacier National Park. The home has a very nice layout with two guestrooms sharing a bath and the primary having privacy. The living and kitchen areas were open and felt very roomy! The owner welcomed my two German Shepherds who had the best time – the fenced in back yard is lovely and offered plenty of room for them to play. One of our favorite things to do was sit outside and enjoy the view and cool mountain air! The owner was extremely communicative and answered any questions I had immediately – ideal host! Overall, my experience was extremely positive, and I would love to stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful time in Whitefish!

Best Location

House met our needs of bedrooms, living area and kitchen. Awesome outdoor area used nightly to just chill out after a day of play. Location perfect for our visit to Glacier and the six golf courses we were scheduled to play. Close to Whitefish downtown area with amazing eateries and fun bars. Thanks to Stu, Jo and Brittany

All you need and more!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Whitefish! This property had all the extras you can imagine. The host called me to give me insight into the area and house which was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this listing!

We had a great last minute stay with Stu, Joanne and their family. The house was terrific and they were wonderful hosts. The yard was perfect for our dog. The house is located a short walk to Whitefish, restaurants, the lake and local restaurants. Highly recommended! Tom

Daughter’s wedding week.

Our stay at Stu’s home was a whirl wind of wedding preparation and celebration. We were happy to have his home to relax in after all the craziness at the end of the day.Stu was the most amazing host I have ever had. He was accommodating, flexible and very responsive to any question we had. He offered so much help if we needed it. Truly a host!The location of the house is perfect. Our favorite was riding our bikes to the beautiful city beach, and walking to our favorite brewery, Bonsai. The snow bus stops right down the road ( by Whitefish Lodge) and takes you up to Big Mountain for hiking or mountain biking. The backyard is full of birds with a beautiful Mountain View. Beds were cozy and we all slept great. Quiet neighborhood for most part. Again, I haven’t had such a kind and thoughtful host ever. Stu takes great pride in his home, and takes good care of his guests.Jane

Great month long stay

My sister and I stayed here for a month with our dogs to work remotely and ski as often as we could. The house was perfect for our needs, and Stu, Jo, and the local team were all super helpful when needed. They really make you feel welcome, at home, and at ease. We would absolutely come back and recommend it to others. Thanks for everything!

Four day getaway

The house was very comfortable. A nice outdoor area for use if the weather would have been a little better. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was nice being close to downtown and 40 minutes to West entrance of the park. The owners were easy to get in touch with.

Comfortable and serene

This was our second time staying at this location in Whitefish. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood about 45 min from West Glacier entrance. The house was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and felt very comfortable and homey. The hosts allow dogs ( thank you!) and the backyard is fenced in. A lot of thought went into the little touches for guests- iPhone chargers, hooks in the bathrooms, toiletries, access to games and sports equipment, etc. The WiFi connection was great! Stuart was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Actually returned !

Have often written in reviews would definitely stay again .. and this time WE DID! Stu and Jo are the epitome of hosts and the house is awesome as well. As the last time we stayed we brought our doggos and we added two friends that went skiing with us. They were impressed too. The only thing I would change is our departure date .. would have stayed longer if we could.

Great rental

We stayed for 5 nights at New Years and were very happy with the house. It is exceptionally well stocked and we found everything we needed including a tool to cut off a padlock in some luggage when we couldn’t find our key. The location is great—near town and the ski mountain. It’s well furnished, comfy and cozy. The owner is very responsive and seeking of ways to improve the renters experience. We’d definitely stay again!!!

There are NO words...

I had the most wonderful time in White Fish and staying at this property. The home was so inviting, you felt like you were in your own home. Having the deer come to visit everyday was an added treat. The hosts did an outstanding job making sure we had everything we needed and even checked in on us. My cousins from Canada came down and were also very impressed with the layout. There is NO question I will reach out to Stu/JO again when I come up this way. If you are looking for a place that feels like "home", this is it!

A Glacier National Park Adventure

Two of my friends and my brother and I visited Whitefish to do the Go To The Sun Road and all of the Glacier parks. We rented this wonderful house a mile from downtown and had a great stay. This VRBO rental far exceeded our expectations. The hosts go way beyond what I think they have to, to insure you have all you need. Communication was super. I probably asked too many questions! Thanks again for your help and hospitality! Definitely recommend this property.

Comfortable home in a great location

Our family had a great stay. The house had everything we needed and more. I don't think we could have found a better location. We were minutes to Big mountain, the lake and downtown. The hosts were easy to reach and very responsive. Would gladly stay in the home again.

Great location, great communication with hosts

Perfect Place

First Stu and Jo are very responsive owners that ensure your stay meets all expectations. The house is furnished with everything one needs to include an extremely well stocked kitchen and all appliances down to the high end Keurig. The fenced in back yard along with the separate side yard provided excellent areas for our two dogs. It’s located in a very friendly neighborhood which is close to town. We look forward to staying again in our future visits.

Perfect location and size for our family of 4 + dog

We had a wonderful time in Whitefish. The location of the house was perfect for skiing at the mountain as well as dinner and shopping in town. The owner had just finished a refresh of the house with new floors and updates. There were a few minor things that had not been completed because of the refresh but those were addressed promptly and did not diminish our experience, We hope to return in the summer and would stay again. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed this property and the hosts! Great location close to downtown Whitefish and easy to access everything. Entire neighborhood is nice and very safe as well. Loved the fenced yard for the dogs. Lots of good places for dog walks as well. House has a nice open layout with plenty of room to make a longer stay comfortable. Hosts were easily accessible to answer any questions. Thanks for everything!
