Bucket List Trip

The stay started a little off, but the host very quickly responded and corrected the situation. The house was clean, well stocked with items, if you forgot anything. We really enjoyed the piece and quiet of the location. You could look out the window and enjoy wildlife grassing in the yard. We grilled and enjoyed everything as if it was our own home. It was a great getaway.

The home was very nice and clean! Loved the decor in the kitchen with the old replica stove and bellied-stove fireplace! The lawn appearance could have been kept up better. Had a little trouble with the kitchen/living room TV not functioning properly. Communications with the owner were difficult, as my calls, text and emails often went unanswered or the response time was not acceptable.

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and in a serene and very private location. The house was perfect for our needs and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Whitefish. Hopeful we can return again in the future!

Amazing house, close to everything

We spent 5 nights in this amazing house. The pictures don't give it enough credit. We spent time in Glacier National. Park, Whitefish, and Flathead Lake. Everything was easy and quick to get to. The host was amazing and communicated with us at every turn, gave great suggestions on activities! I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Glacier Getaway

We traveled from Pennsylvania to Montana. The host was very responsive. This property was very clean and the attention to detail in this home was impeccable. We relaxed when we could on the deck while watching all the wildlife in the yard. We discovered some really great local restaurants in Whitefish, a local rodeo and kayaked Flathead Lake. Our drives to hike Glacier National Park had great scenery for the longer commute. We highly recommend this host and property for your next Montana getaway.

Snow-less Holiday

Lovely property to celebrate late Christmas/Early New Years even tho there wasn't much snow....anywhere. Great location for Whitefish fun! Highly recommend the guided snowmobile tours!

Wonderful family vacation!

The property was very clean and had plenty of towels, bedding and kitchen supplies. We came for a Christmas ski trip with family. Close to all activities and plenty of room for all.

Amazing Hideaway in Flathead

This house and property was magical. Our kids loved the creek and pond, the house was the perfect amount of charming and cozy, and the little details did not go unnoticed. The property is perfectly located, close enough to stores and town but also secluded enough to enjoy the outdoors. The kitchen came partially stocked which was wonderful for a later arrival and trying to get a meal prepared. We will definitely be coming back!

Gorgeous Property

My group (four adults, two teenagers, two elementary-aged kids) stayed here for a week in July 2023. The property was even better than the listing conveyed. The location was great -- close enough to town (10 minutes) to make it easy to go for groceries, etc. but far enough out to feel secluded. It was also centrally located between our trips to Glacier NP and Bigfork. The property was lovely. The house is situated on a large, wooded lot with a creek running into a large pond. The kids in our group (even the teenagers) spent hours playing in the creek and pond (the paddle boat was a big hit) while the adults relaxed a short distance away on the large back porch. Deer wandered through the property daily, and we also saw some wild turkeys. The house itself was great for our group of eight. The two rooms on the main level with queen-sized beds were great for the adults. The small room with two twin-sized beds was perfect for the younger kids in our group, and even came pre-stocked with toys, books, etc. (The Nerf guns got a lot of use.) The loft bedroom upstairs was good for teens, but be advised that the ladder up to it is steep and only good for the sure-footed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living room is a little small for larger groups, but the weather was so great that we spent most of our lounge time on the outdoor sofa anyway. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and would happily book this property again if we were back in the area.

Amazing

We all had so much fun at this property. The Kids had a blast in the pond. While the adults relaxed and took in the beautiful scenery all around us. This place was everything plus more . Can not think of one negative. Would highly recommend if your wanting some space.

Beautiful Property

The property was beautiful and had lots of room for activities outside with the family. The inside of the house was very nice and very clean. We had a couple small issues that the owner took care of right away when I messaged him. We love this house and will be coming back!

Relax and fun

I was travelling with my early 20’s kids and their boyfriends. We had a fabulous weekend. Barbecued, went for walks, had a shuffle board tournament and just relaxed. Enough room for everyone to have their own space but cosy enough to feel like home. Great spot close to Whitefish and Kalispell. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway!

This property was absolutely breathtaking. The house itself was perfect and so lovey. The pictures do not do it justice and we truly felt like we were staying at a resort. The outdoor aspects were so fun as well and we were able to enjoy it a lot during our stay. We also loved the location. It’s a great place to stay if you are hoping to explore both whitefish and Kalispell without actually being in town.

Great Property

We really enjoyed our stay!! Beautiful property. We enjoyed seeing the deer everyday on the property. It was very clean and had everything we needed. And more. There was so much room to spread out. We all had our areas when we wanted a little space. Great and quick communication with owner. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Thanks Joey!

Spring break ski trip

We were amazed at the value of this rental. So much space and privacy! Lots of interesting decorations and plenty of games for the kids. Hot tub was very enjoyable and the view of pond with Canadian geese and deer made it even better. Master bedroom was cozy and warm with a nice fireplace. Close to both Kalispell and Whitefish presented more options for food and entertainment. Only 30 min to ski resort. We would definitely recommend this property!

Worth it

The cabin is prettier in person. The pictures do not do it justice. The amenities were spa like. Each bathroom came equipped with bath robes and bath slippers. There was great shampoo and conditioner. The jacuzzi was amazing! There was a full gym to exercise at (in the basement). Half of each day the property was swarming with deers grazing in the snow. The beds, sheets, blankets, and towels were comfortable and high quality. The fridge, pantry, spice cabinet, dishes, pots/pans and expresso machine made it more than easy to cook at home and have a great meal. The road to get to the property in the winter was quite slippery due to ice. We all had a couple moments where the car slipped and my sister did fall getting out of the car one time. I don’t think this is anything the host can help with. More of an FYI for future short term renters coming over winter. I will also note this would not detour me from booking the property. We did have to reach out to the host one time because the internet went down for 3 hours in the middle of the day. He responded quickly, walked us through troubleshooting, was friendly and explained that the cabin has the highest speed internet in the area but its not great. He said it is really meant for one person working remote. Unfortunately, their were 2 of us working remote and multiple others using wifi on their phones, making it hard to do anything. This is the only thing that would make me reconsider booking in the future. It would have been nice to work comfortably while others watched Netflix or browsed their phones. At the same time, if you don’t need reliable wifi this cabin is a gem. I would totally book again on vacation.
