Stunning views from our modern guesthouse of Mt Hood, the Gorge, and Hood River

Welcome to Our View House

We decided to share our guesthouse because we love sharing the incredible view we’re so lucky to enjoy every day. It’s truly special — and we wanted our friends and guests to experience it too.

Our 600-square-foot modern guesthouse was designed as a private honeymoon-style retreat. Perched on concrete sonotubes 18 feet above the ground, it feels like a modern treehouse, offering a unique sense of floating among the trees while taking in breathtaking views of Hood River, Mt. Hood, and the Columbia River Gorge — our favorite view of all.

Access to the guesthouse is via a 30-foot steel bridge and about 35 long steps, adding to the secluded and elevated feel.

Although the space is private, it’s located near our main house, so a few house rules help keep things peaceful for everyone:

One vehicle maximum — please park on the east side (left side) of the main house.
Two guests maximum. The only exception is for infants not yet crawling (for safety reasons — sharp glass edges).
