This is an excellent house. Good location in White Salmon and the home has a great layout with kitchen/ dining/ living room space and ample decks. Very clean. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking.

Northern Lights is a comfortable and clean home with a well-stocked kitchen. The living space is great for hanging out, and the beds were comfortable. One of the bedrooms also had a workspace. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, and the house was an easy walk to the main part of town.

Northern Lights was a great property to stay during our visit to the Columbia Gorge. The home was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the fresh coffee beans in our morning coffee! The host checked in often, asking if we needed anything. The restaurants, bars, bakery and grocery store in White Salmon were all in walking distance to the house. I would definitely rent this property again!

Clean house and great location. We enjoyed our stay. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the half bath downstairs because the listing doesn't show it. With three women in the house the extra bathroom was great

A very large kitchen accommodated our family nicely. It was well stocked with all the things you need for preparing food for a group. The dining table was large - perfect for playing table games and enjoying time together. Better instructions on how to use the tv would have been helpful. It also would have been good to know that there were many stairs - no main floor bedroom made it difficult for a member of our party. We loved how close it was to walk to the little market and to the White Salmon Baking Co. - DELISH!!! We visited every day! Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Overall a fine stay. House is a lot closer to the neighbors than we realized from photos. You could hear the TV downstairs and construction-type activities next door. Place was clean, bed comfy. Well-appointed kitchen.

Clean, comfortable home in walkable white Sammon neighborhood.

A group of wildflower enthusiast ladies stayed at the northern lights property in white Salmon. It was absolutely perfect for us! The ladies were all commenting on the amenities and the set up of the home, which was very comfortable and thoughtfully done. The kitchen had everything you could ever want and more. We were able to just relax use the hot tub and sleep in the comfortable beds after our long days of hiking. We already want to book again next year for the same house. It was just lovely. .

Gem in a Quiet Town

Very roomy and extremely comfortable beds. Kitchen is large and very well stocked such that cooking all of our meals was very straightforward. Quiet neighborhood with good hiking 10 to 30 minutes away. Large TV with easy to follow instructions for accessing various streaming services. Check in was easy and communication with property manager was excellent. If we return to the area we would definitely stay here again.

Northern Lights Delight!

Our stay at Northern Lights was overall excellent. Spotlessly clean, a large well stocked kitchen with every utensil we needed, and comfortable beds! The view of Mt. Hood was nice from the upper deck (there are two). While we didn’t use the hot tub, it was spotless, had nice towels and was ready to go. The bedrooms are up a flight of stairs and the front door is several steps above the parking area, for those with mobility problems. The management company, ARRIVED, is the gold standard for all to follow. Their communications were exceptional, with top notch friendly and caring staff.Northern Lights is a stone’s throw from the town of White Salmon and just across the Columbia River from Hood River. Just a heads-up, there is no BBQ grill. There are two large wooden decks, and safety considerations do not allow for outdoor cooking. The reviews on this exceptional property speak volumes. Check it out!

Northern Lights is exactly as described...and that's a good thing!

Northern Lights was the perfect place for my recent stay in White Salmon. The house is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything my family and I needed. The location can't be beat, both in terms of walking proximity to the restaurants and shops of White Salmon as well great hikes and other outdoor activities being just a short drive away. And the view of Mt. Hood from the hot tub and the back deck is a lovely bonus. I highly recommend Northern Lights - I definitely hope to stay there again!

Felt like home

This house and service we received from the host was top notch. It was so welcoming and comfortable and the host checked in periodically to see if they could be of additional assistance. Location was convenient and the hot tub was a nice way to wind down each night.

The only thing that irritated me was there wasn’t any process for early check in . I understand that someone was checking out the day of check in. The cleaning staff left around 3:00pm but we had to stand out in the cold until the lock released at 4:02. Really seemed unnecessary early

Better than described!

This house was perfect! Bigger than expected, with beautiful views of Mt Hood. It does have a basement unit, from which you can hear all sounds when you’re in the living room. But that was a very minor thing and we would absolutely stay here again in the future! Really wonderful
