We were one of two rooms that were the only ones being used and when our ride was late showing up we were locked out,in the cold and could not use the common areas which are generally left open. We were repeatedly asked to pay extra or pay a depisit for a variety of things and when the deposit was returned we were tood that theres a $5 service fee that was deducted. Only things that I think should’ve been added is some tea towels for drying dishes, an extra mirror for the ladies, (only mirror was bathroom), some extra space to hang clothes and some updated frying pans. However, if that’s all we have to complain about it was a marvellous day! Beds were comfortable and the host was excellent."

"We had such a nice stay at Alex’s property in Marpole. The location was ideal and was walkable to the several restaurants and a Safeway nearby. When we first arrived, we found the downstairs to be generally clean (aside from the dirty rug). It could have used a sweep but no other issues. Then we walked upstairs and the bedroom and upstairs bathroom smelled a bit musty (like sweaty body order). We ended up walking to the Safeway down the street to buy an air freshener and didn’t end up using the...
